Too Hot

We did a short walk around the block. Both Ozzie and Fitz were very excited and as you can see walked well. Both did their duty as soon as we got outside. My knee was not up to it but it will either make it better or worse. LOL I am wearing a knee brace that helps.

Here is a mini gallery.

It was way too hot for the dogs to stay outside. More so than yesterday it was overwhelming. Dogs came out then went right back in. They say cooler or at least less humidity tomorrow. Oh, I just looked - hot again.

I am busy trying to find a rubber mat that has holes in it to protect the inside of the sink. So far only have makeshift solutions.

Daughter came over with 2 of the kids and hubby. They swam. We have Adele and River till Monday. Their house hasn't sold so they are fretting. I think their new place is unpacked but they need lessons from Anne who gets it done on the same day. LOL I need lessons too. Some people are organizing geniuses. I am so trying.

Next project is fix landscape lights, clean out storage and get the piano gone. No one wants a piano for free so we are paying to have it hauled off despite it still working - a baby grand - old but oh well. All our kids learned on it. Then the tv room will expand and become a larger room. This way when we have pups the dogs have a wide space when it is tv time. They so enjoy tv time and so do we. It's the little things in life.

You’re too funny, but yes I am an organized freak! Nice to see Ozzie and Fritz walking, they will make a nice duo 😘

Darlah if you weren't organized you wouldn't get everything done that you do. With your list of to dos I am amazed you do all you do. Love the pics.

What size rubber matting with holes do you need?
Amazon have antimicrobial shower and bath ones. They also have ones for the floor, black rubber with squares cut out if you can visualise.

My issue is it needs holes in it. I may try the shelf liner I got for my cabinets to see if it works. I am just terrible at cutting to size but we will try. LOL

Dry Dek Bath Tiles
These plastic tiles allow you to blast a dog while standing in the bath. The mesh tiles allow the water to drain away from the dogs feet. They will fit in most baths and are easily removed for cleaning.

Sue: Interesting idea. I wonder how it feels on their feet and if it can be cut to size.

You have a baby grand?!!! I loved playing the piano, but I didn’t have the talent ... too heavy handed. Have you tried posting on different sites “for free - just have to arrange move”?
Yes, far too hot! I spend all day outside and it had been cool enough to sleep with the ceiling fan on high ... until Friday night when I finally put the air on. Farley and Clarity said “about time!” The air went off again on Saturday night.

Yes, I asked many, posted on many sites free. This is an old baby grand but pricey at the time. All the kids used it to learn to play. It's time for it to go but no one wants it for free so we have to pay to get it taken away. We want to expand the tv room so when we have pups the dogs have more room during their tv time each day. LOL

You are playing cheap with the air? The dogs will revolt. The last few days the dogs prefer the inside to the outside. Even with washing the deck down with water, its just too hot. It was cooler yesterday but inside they ran. LOL They are appreciating the coolness.

the bath tiles are made of a soft plastic so can be cut to size and would be soft to stand on, according to the shop and reviews.
I will send for some for my bath and let you know definitely.
