Exhaustion Set In
I had so many plans today including transplanting plumeria - thank you Dorothy but nothing occured. I spend most of the day dematting two dogs - don't ask me and bathing and cutting those going home.
I wanted to make headway in the front room. I wanted to swim but it was too cool. I wanted to....
Dogs still managed to get their groove on. I have been up the last 2 nights around 4am with massive leg cramps that took about 2 hours to subside. I used a massager. I tried distraction in case part of it was in my head. Still took that long and then by 615am both days I made it to sleep only to have to get up at 7am. I don't get naps as Nathan does so fried is an understatement. I think the culprit may have been dogs laying on my legs while I slept. Try getting through the dogs with cramps to get to the floor so you can attempt to walk it out. It's a joke. You want to cry but hopefully tonight the dogs and I will crash. I noticed the dogs took naps today.
Enough biachin.
I went out on the couch today - the outdoor couch. It is a serta mattress that goes flat. I figure I would nap but the dogs kept jumping on me and I gave up. If I didn't need a nap, it would be a comical sight and I suppose it would have been in any other state of mind. I had Levon and Trigger walking up and down my body, Pablo pulling my hair, Jessie breathing in my face and I could go on. No, I didn't yell and say Dennis come take a video but if this was happening to someone else, I would have laughing my fool head off.
Till tomorrow....

We are worried about you, Darlah. Lack of sleep can make you sick. You have worked so incredibly hard all summer. One night away, to have a nice healthy dinner you didn't prepare, and to sleep with no dogs--any chance you could do that?
I get it. Trigger always seems to stand on my sternum.
I have heard that Magnesium is very good for leg cramps.
Take calcium and magnesium... it's my life as neither even consistently makes it go away though I have months of reprieve then daily but this time I am hoping its just due to the dogs.
Lovely thought getting away. Have to discuss that with Nathan even if its one night.
YES, even one night (or 2!) would be great for your physical and mental health. Re-charge your batteries before all those puppies arrive!
You are an incredibly hard working and caring woman, Darlah
But you need to take care to not wear out your hands and body
You will end up with repetitive strain injuries unless you
give your body time to rest and heal. All human bodies will break down
If not given time to rest and rejuvenate. Please take care of yours!
Darlah you push yourself so much. You are your own task master. I know the feeling that if you don't do it it won't get done. But your first priority is to survive We all need you and worry about you. Hope you have a good night's rest tonight š
Pistachio and almond nuts are a good source of cramp reducing potassium and magnesium as well as other anti oxidants. Also bananas and sweet potatoes.
Try snacking on a few of them during the day. Drink plenty of water.
Hope your feeling better soon and you do need a rest or you will become exhausted and ill. I wish I lived closer Iād come do your painting for you.
I eat pistachios EVERY day. LOL Who knew
I would suggest checking the Mayo clinic website for cramps, also those specializing in back pain and leg cramping. Best to get authoritative recommendations.
In my case I know I have to do movements different to what I have been doing to ease the pain.
Su - I will be glad when the painting is done. Its already cooler. Hope its a temp thing. It means the clock is a ticking. Must start cleaning after grooming today to get the piano out.

This is an excellent website link.
Yes Darlah, I hope you can take some time out for some R&R. You work so hard and you deserve a break!!!
Darlah - there is a Magnesium spray and you can spray onto your muscles and then rub it in. It is more effective than just ingesting it since you are getting it directly onto the irritated muscle.
