Saturday Rain and Not

This is Mabel and Stormy. I combed them out today. I am laughing so hard as they - well I believe - look darn adorable.

Here is the gallery.

It rained. The sun came out and then it got cloudy and now the sun is out again. They say Tuesday will be hot and the last of the heat. Hopefully we will all swim then pick a date for a closing.

You will see in the gallery, Jesse has taken over one of the recliners. It's a riot.

I am going through the puppy room upstairs, moving things out as it has become storage - not sure why and so has the guest room so cleaning I am doing. The vacuum seal bags - well i am using it but not a huge hit here. I am using the 130L clear plastic tote and that seems to work better but too costly so we will buy a new one here and there. I have 2. Sherry is getting me 2 from another store as the local store to me is out. I so need this before pups. It is my last project other than taking in plants, setting up xpen and whelping boxes etc. I will set up xrays for the last week of gestation. It's not time yet.

Fitz, our 6 year old is still looking for a home. Haven't advertised him. He's been doing well though he is missing Jon. Our son Jon is at a wedding in the Muskokas this weekend. It is a 2 day affair and then he comes back tomorrow to do laundry then off for training in New Jersey for 2 weeks.

Murphy, Kat's brother plays with the dogs from morning till night. Kat no longer plays. He will swim but he's just too sore from arthritis. We are looking for solutions to manage his aches. He will miss the swimming. Me too!

The dogs really love the tv room now as they have a ton of space but Nathan sits down, I sit down in there and suddenly you have a blanket of dogs. Oh to be so loved is so nice!

Harlow has decided that she owns the couch. She rolls and tried to spread herself out to claim it.

Murphy gal has decided the last crate is hers again. That and the cushiest soft blanket next to my chest each night. She loves her comfort.

I need to hang curtains. Make things look presentable in there but doing so many other things. Yesterday's grooming almost killed me and get this, at 3am I was up and couldn't go back to sleep. Everyone else looked up and went back to sleep other than Cinnamon who likes to bat me with a toy - let's play. I have a baby, mom. Maybe I was over tired.

I am back to doing upstairs for another hour or 2 and calling it a day for today.

Looking forward to a play session in Burlington on Thursday and the Home Show on Friday.

Sounds like all the dogs are having a wonderful time, as usual!

My house is too small for a 3rd one, but wow, imagine that, but then again, maybe I can move Tom's stuff out and finally get him really retired, into the furnace room🤣. ( Tom is not worried, he's still in the house, fed, warm, clothed and with internet service)
Hope Fitz finds a new home soon, no doggie should be without a loving home.😘

Dorothy: I agree but do not think you will get away with putting him in the furnace room.

I am interested in an adult... when are you going to release Fitz? I emailed you in July and your husband got back to me saying you had none at that time. Where could I see a pic of him? I work out of the house, we have a small family contracting business, 3 grown and married kids and 3 grandsons. I have loved and owned two
Soft Coated Wheatens, but am now interested in a smaller dog. I have researched
The Havanese and love the description of their fun loving personality and find them
adorable.
Thanks, Marilyn
