Heat Coming

50% chance of rain tomorrow with a temp of 84F - 29c. Will we swim? You bet!! I don't care if it is pouring but wonder how the dogs will feel? Then we face closing. I am so not happy about it and I imagine the dogs will not be. Wednesday we take in our plants that are going in. The rest will be left to die. It is a sad time for us - well me.

Here is the gallery.

Xray dates are up on the mom's blogs. Realize I will not be posting till later that night. It takes me awhile to receive the xrays. It irritates me but I will nag. LOL I realize it is the longest time to wait so I get it up as soon as I receive the digital. I also realize after that it is the longest time till pups make their debut. Me, I need time.

We have been busy - well I have been cleaning the puppy room upstairs and organizing. We sterilize everything and we are setting it up different so I can walk around 3 sides of the pen. This is the area that they use when they are over 4 weeks old so it is a bit premature but not really. I like everything to be ready and we haven't had pups for a bit.

Today I spent hours and still have much more to do. I take some of the dogs up with me and they make it interesting as they drag things here and there. I am organizing toys and blankets and supplies.

Tomorrow Velvet, Mabel and Elvis depart. We really miss them when they go. There is always a lull of quietness when they depart from the dogs. I do believe the dogs miss their pals too.

It is also October already tomorrow. Wow, how did that happen?

Soon there will be no sleep, eating whenever I can fit in cooking and beautiful soft pups. Thanksgiving will come. Stuffing, turkey, gravy and cranberry sauce. Then costumes and scary stuff. All pups will be born by then and families will start buying for Christmas and Chanukah. White stuff and cold will descend and not depart till close to April.

Cinnamon's pups will most likely go home just before Xmas or we will hold them and the rest just after Xmas. Those that celebrate Chanukah will have their bundles of joys at home during the holiday.

Then the New Year and 2020. Slow down... let's go slow. but that's my take. Back to work in hopes I get TV time with the dogs. I didn't last night. I did lay down on the couch for oh 5 minutes and then Nathan came down and well that was over. I had Jeannie between my legs, Raven on my side, Cinnamon on the arm and my head on the arm. Leti was on the other side. Dennis was out with the rest of the dogs. Cinnamon is such a happy gal she kept swishing her tail in my face. This is my life. LOL

Thanks for the heads up for hot weather, I have lots to clean up my yard as well, just don't remind me of cold coming, I still ride all year long. Can't summer be 1 more month longer, please?
