The Wild Snow Play

Here is today's gallery.

My next day off isn't till next Friday when I go to a class to do infusibles on a mug. I spend my tip money on this Cricut fun. I just received my dog tags and now have to learn how to engrave with it. It took 3 weeks for them to get here. My goal is to try learning with my dogs and hopefully do one each for the pups going home. We shall see if that's a pipe dream or not. But I so like to share something fun with the new puppy people.

Dogs were way too cold to play for an extended time outdoors. Jesse laid out for a few then was on 3 legs. This is a reminder when it is cold and they are lifting their paws, it is time to come indoors.

When the dogs were outside they ran like crazy dogs. Maybe it warmed them up.

The son is making noise that he may be moving out - not the one that helps us day to day but the one that lives in the basement. It needs a lot of work. We need to paint, redo carpets by putting down tile, baseboard heating and I intend on putting a gym mat that covers the entire floor over the tile and have yet another area for the dogs. All this will have to happen over time due to expense. I want to put fun agility stuff, beds and well a room to play in when it is raining. We will still be upstairs but this will be a fun spot when the weather is bad to play. I know I am nuts but anything for the dogs. We shall see if that reality comes true. The son hasn't gone anywhere yet. LOL

We have dogs departing and a number coming overnight. It's a busy weekend. Come Monday it is Dennis day off and much quieter. This is the quiet before the March Break. We are not too busy this year. People are staying home. Well, come April warmth will come. I look forward to it if it doesn't bring too much rain.

Classes are wonderful and it is great that we have Coco Chanel and her human in class.

Till tomorrow...  Hoping it is warmer.

Darlah, I understand totally your whole house being more for the dogs than you. My living/dining room and bedroom are much the same and I have only two 🐶🐶

I thought the son downstairs had moved to Vancouver ... I’m confused.

i would love to redo my basement. My son is downstairs and thinks the mess is fine because no one goes down. Oh well! Maybe he will move out but I doubt it. Too convenient.

Sounds like you have been so busy and you still have time for learning even more. I don't know how you do it.

Your plans for the basement sound amazing!

Laci doesn’t have her own room. (Well, I think she thinks they’re all hers 😉). But, she has a toy box and water bowls in nearly every room.

Ronnie, I was thinking the same thing about son having moved away??? 🤔

Gabby and Tuffy spent February 29 and an overnight. Looking at the collection of pictures ...... as the song goes " They had the time of their live and they owe it all to you" Huge thanks to Darlah and Nathan for making it possible. You guys are terrific with the fur babies.
Also, I had the time of my life at River Dance! And without a worry about the dogs. I repeat thanks again.

One of the sons who used to have the basement YEARS ago moved to BC. This son took it over as it is like an apartment of their own. He's had it for years. It does have a full bathroom and part of it was half tiled but the carpet is old and must go. We do have the main area and 2 bedrooms that our grandkids used when they lived here but they trashed the carpet. Plus having a rainy day play area is not carpet worthy. It needs flooring - tile and rubber matting over so it is easy on the dogs and easy to clean. The area would only be to use when the weather is too bad outside. Our dogs have the complete house to use. But an official area with all dog related stuff for them to enjoy seems fun to me. It's just a thought and due to expense, it will take time - little by little to do. I can rip up carpet and pain but not do flooring properly. Maybe I could but I have my limit!
