Changing Times

Tia departed, Charlie departs tomorrow. It will soon be really quiet. The world is crazy as we all practice isolation of sorts. Someone asked me what I will do for my birthday on the 24th and I said perhaps nothing as nothing will be open. It is crazy times but the dogs do not know it. They are having a great time.

Here is today's gallery.

Short blog of sorts as I need to cuddle with Kat. This is not a good day for him nor us. When it rains - it pours!

Am thinking of you both and of Kat. I hope he starts to feel better.

Haven't read the blogs for many days, didn't know about Kat. Hope all goes well for him. I was actually saying to Russell the dogs are so lucky, oblivious to what's going on...as long as we keep calm around them. They do sense stress. But they keep us grounded. Yes, changing times for all of us, in more ways than one.

I am so very sorry Kat is having such a difficult time. He is surrounded with love and that is very special. I hope he starts to rally more soon. I saw the first reaction to my dogs today related to Covid. A neighbour who usually makes such a fuss over Patches, picking her up, cuddling and kissing her wanted nothing to do with her today. They told me that Covid can exist on a dog’s hair and they don’t want to catch it if my two had it on them. Patches was so upset, she really cried.

Charlie made the cover...we are counting down until tomorrow! You guys are special and the care & love you provide is truly amazing! I will say a prayer for Kat and wishing all of you a better day tomorrow. See you in the morning!

Which dog is the white dog in the main photo of today's blog? He/She really resembles my Katie.

So sorry to hear he is having another bad day. Yesterday sounded so hopeful. I'm sure it will take time to heal that tummy that was bleeding.

Cuddles to both Kat and poor Patches and Radar😥
We'll all get through this.

Everyone is stressed and concerned. It is a different world these days. A big hug to you and Kat. It is so hard to see our loved ones struggle. I am sorry you are going through this painful time. We will all get through Covid 19 and look what we can tell the kids about the history of our times

So sorry to hear of Kat’s I’ll health. I too have a super senior in my old Golden, Kinsey, so totally understand your worries and sadness.
Big hugs to all🌷

Sending positive thoughts to Kat. I remember too well that when our fur babies feel sick/pain, so do we. It’s heart breaking. 💔
Re: Covid. We have turned off the news and will rely on our iPhones for new developments of relevance. The depressing continuous repetitive news can take a a toll on the best of us. Take care of yourselves mentally and physically!

Take heed of the 6’ distance and no contact to humans or their animals. Contact is the risk of transmission before we have symptoms.

Helping a neighbour in need nourishes our souls.

Darlah, I hope you get to celebrate your birthday soon. Hopefully, we will all be able to celebrate our freedom soon.

Hugs, 🤗
