Brushed and Not

When it is weather like this, it is hard to keep them looking brushed. It is actually a joke!

Then here you have Leti in all her glory. Time for a brush.

Here is today's gallery.

They say up to 11 this weekend - wow. This morning I went out with the dogs in a sweatshirt and felt comfortable. Now it is damp, black clouds and you need a winter jacket. Such a tease mother nature is.

By tomorrow Leti and Willow should be out of heat. We celebrate.

The dogs - despite the weather are managing to have a great time.

Abby and Zoey are here having a great time and boy are they excited. Ollie boy is visting for the day.

The duo here are heading to the vet for their rabies shot. Murphy boy has arrived and harlow and Murphy are silly playing. Life is good!

Now it is bloody snowing sleet.

Blame the snow on me, I decided to rack up some leavesšŸ˜•
Mind you, it was a wonderful day to let mine out on the front porch and watch me and everything, so happy to be finally out for a long stint and now they are both fully zonked asleep after dinner, fresh air does wonders for them.

Lovely gallery, I forget the name of the beauty in photos 2350 and on....Iā€™m having a seniorā€™s moment šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø Our weather is similar, we havenā€™t gone for a walk in a few days, too slushy and wet, plus our pooches rather enjoy a quiet day once in a while. They will be busy when they visit you mid April šŸ˜‰

That is Mickey - who is Stone's full brother and littermate.

Looking forward to the visit!!!

Leave the leaves, Dorothy and when it is dry, rake them on to the grass and mow them to bits. The best fertiliser for your garden beds and grass.

I already leave the leaves over the winter on all my flower beds to compost, haven't used fertilizer in years, but the problem is every house on the street has a full grown tree, mostly maple and the amount of leaves and keys is unbelievable, the scurge of Toronto. I'm just lightly raking some of the excess that didn't compost, many more days of work ahead. Flowerbeds are mostly perennial, some shrubs and small ornamental trees. I think Tom does some of that mowing of leaves. And surprize, the first bulbs are coming up already, yippee!šŸŒ·

Too early for spring cleaning despite what the bulbs think. My birthday is March 24th and my father followed a snow truck to the hospital for me to be born. Dennis birthday is April 17th. It snows on that day more days than not. What a bubble burst in the patootie - aren't I?

Yup, I recalled telling you that it still might snow for Dennis' bd.
We have to go to N.S. Easter week, hoping it doesn't snow on our drive, 2 days each way, been there, done that.
P.s. we didn't have a car, I was born in the basementšŸ˜‚. At least my mom had my brother before me.

... and I have my pool opening booked for April 16! LOL
I always open mid April as I donā€™t want the workers trampling the garden while opening. ... and yes, I have pictures with snow around the newly opened pool.

Which is the beautiful pup in the first photo of yesterday's blog?

That is Gucci.

I have yet to book my pool opening but should. Mid April is good as it is heated up in time for a swim daily. :-) With pups, my garden will suffer but if its pool or garden - the pool wins!

Dorothy: Oh my in a basement - no drugs - poor mom but better for you - I think. :-)
