Flying Havanese

Tenshi was here and had a great time. She was running and flying. Thank you for the mom's gift. It was deeply appreciated! Happy Mother's Day to you too!!! Such a great girl you have!

Here is the gallery.

This was a no groom Mother's Day for me. Dogs are messy - they may be for a day or 2 as this back - well has to get better and I have grooming tomorrow for boarders.

I changed 2 of the pens and took out the whelping boxes. I am not sure what posessed me but I pulled my back. I have on a rare occassion have had my back hurt me usually from grooming but today I must of turned wrong. So, it is slow motion for me.

Check out the blogs. Lots of changes for Willow and Stormy crew.

Dogs had fun today. Happy Mother's day to all of you that have 2 and 4 leg children!

Cheryl: Happy Mother's Day to you too!

Maureen: Its the up and down that is the killer. Sitting I am fine. Can't groom today. Just can't. A sudden jerk would be interesting and I have iced.

That is terrible. It is so painful. I can comiserate. I take Advil. I know people are afraid of it but it is an anti inflammatory. Ice can help. Others use heat. Yuk. Either way the pain is awful. So sorry. Tenshi's is luscious What a great photo.

I ordered a brace that is supposed to come by 8pm tomorrow night. I am hoping it will help me groom. I like to groom daily but yesterday was impossible and today - well we will see.

Try methocarbamol, works for me and Tom. Naproxen can be used too. Also try a cooling gel, like Biofreeze, rub it on especially prior to bed. My dad uses it often, he's fallen 3x, damaged both shoulders and for his lower back, slipped/herniated discs. He says it works.

Methacarbomol is the muscle relaxant in Robaxin, Robaxacet, Robaxisal, neat or with acetaminophen, or asa. You can also get generic brands, all off the shelf.
Info just to clarify things.
