Enjoying Life

Just got this from Phillipa with Bailey. I just had to laugh. Tempest and hallie also mud paws all over the kitchen. I love it when dogs are dogs! One has to avoid mud after a rainstorm if you care. I personally laugh about it.

Benji was here having a grand time. I bet he is going to be tired tonight!

Got this from Alene:

Shady and Nora have had enough of self isolation. They drove away, maybe they are coming to visit you!  Have a good long weekend!

Ollie was chasing Roxie all over the place today until we realized she is in heat. She is not being bred. She's a grannie now. When covid is done we will get her spayed.

Here is the gallery.

Tenshi was also here but she is in the gallery. It felt like normal times here.  The dogs miss the visitors.

On a sad note Dolly's daddy is very sick - not with COVID. Our hearts go out to them. You forget all the people who can't be with their loved ones due to covid. We are hopeful he will pull through this. He is genuinely a really nice guy.

Dogs had a blast. I brushed out all the dogs except Truffie who needs a comb out still. It's just before 6pm. Nathan turned the pool heater on to 60f. Not swimming in that but its progress.

Benji fell into the pool today and was a strong and relaxed swimmer. Pool was at 50f. heh

Sweet, Bailey’s famous! She has since had a bath and is now clean as a whistle! But as you can see, she had a LOT of fun getting dirty! Lol

It's so nice with the warm weather, Pixie growled at Tom when she refused to come in today''leave me in the sun, it's so nice', both think they are in heaven.
Perfect temperature for everyone, I might be able to get back to the barn and ride, I am sooo out of shape yet sooo happy.

Pippa: Glad she had fun!

Dorothy - imagine some sense of normalcy. Here's to you getting able to ride!

Your pool is 50! Mine was 85 today - I went for my first swim.

I'm happy I could walk outside without my hood up never mind swim. One day!

So sorry to hear about Dolly's Dad. Such sad times for so many. Sending good vibes and hoping he will pull through.

Christine: I am glad you did. I will not be swimming in this lean year for income till it is consistently warm. Just a reality. Hope you enjoyed it immensely!

I understand, Darlah. I just put the heater on Friday as the pool was already 65, not 50 like yours, so it wasn’t so bad getting the temp up. Weather network shows HOT by the end of the week.
This is the latest date in 10 years for the first swim. I’ve been digging up large areas of grass and weeds in the front ditch and moving ground cover down. I was craving the pool to be able to stretch out all the kinks as I’ve been at it for days.
