Another Hot One

Brewer SwimmingHarlow Swimming

We had Harlow and Brewer swimming today. Both very strong swimmers. Tenshi was not interested but maybe on a day she needs a solid grooming and when it is hot, we will bring her in.

We also brought Tenshi in - not a love of the pool yet. We brought Halle in - she is a very strong swimmer and motors along though not yet wanting to jump in either. Spirit - well she also went in. She was a strong swimmer but went I want to run around the pool and watch everyone else - not ME! Sage and Misty are nut jobs and are in every chance they get. Roxie and Ella also swam but that was it. Some chose air conditioning and who can blame them.

Here is the gallery.

It was a mighty hot day and I am ever so thankful especially with pusp that we have air conditioning. People who followed us know for the last 3 years ours was not working so we had to have freon on, live through a heat wave and pray the freon would last all season. Last year they fished a line in and this year it worked right out of the gate. We thought we needed a new one but here is to another year without that expense considering this was a very hard hit year financially. We escaped the bullet - is that how the saying goes?

I did transplant my 2 tomatoes and cucumber but have yet to do the trug. I noticed my lettuce that went to seed reseeded. There is a bonus to laziness or is that no time? I never closed my trug last year. Now I am seeing all sorts of surprises and I do not have to buy them. hmmm

Still need everbearing strawberries. Going to call around to see who has. No year to just shop without an idea if the item is there.

Thank you to Dorothy for a ton of cilantro. I still need to know how much I owe you. Deepest appreciation!

I have no hanging baskets. I may buy 1 or two for colour but I am not putting up my water pots nor many other planters. It will have to do and maybe just maybe I will get used to this less thing. I still have a trug to clean up but afraid that I may pull out a welcome surprised. Besides it is still hot - too hot and well the air feels nice. Happy gardening!

Do not worry about the cilantro, I got it so cheap, only thing I'm concerned about is the squirrels and chipmunks keep digging up my cilantro, beans, etc that I planted. Every day something else is dug up they many have taken all.
I also have somethings resprouting from last year too.
I'll check for the strawberries, I think I saw some at Cdn tire last week, maybe still available, I got 2 for myself this year.
Are we telocommunicating somehow?😆 what else do you need?😂

Love to see that so many dogs loved the pool. Hope you get to enjoy too.

Thanks for trying to get Tenshi in the pool. She was never a water dog. Can you develop a love for water or they are born to not like the water?
