Funny Day Today

I started out the day laughing - yes laughing. Weather was great. Did not swim. Could swim now but I vote for relax first.

Here is the gallery.

The squirrel was still taking down my vines and not just a few. This squirrel is busy.

I started out grooming Charlie. My scissors need sharpening. They were starting to fold hair. One after another - 7 scissors doing that. What are the chances? I so tried to adjust but it was futile, so I pulled out the scissors that I usually only use in emergency. The ones this sharpening place calls junk. LOL Some are decent - some not so much. I got a few that worked well. I went to use my clippers and both wouldn't cut blade after blade. Really? I need new assemblies. Okay - can't clipper either so full scissor cut with scissors that are not my fave. Got it done and then my 2 clippers, many blades and scissors Nathan took up to Bolton. With Covid they no longer allow you inside nor do same day sharpening. But at an extra cost they can get it done for tomorrow. I am going to hate to see this bill.

I need 3 clippers not just 2 and a backup of my fave thinners that are not in stock - special order only. I was so laughing and frustrated at the same time that I said - it's a NO grooming day. I did comb out everyone yesterday but they already look interesting.

So tomorrow we go to get them. I have not sharpened for a year so once a year is not bad. A 2 day trip to Bolton - oh well - gets us out before Raven has pups.

Murphy departed today. Charlie has now gone home and we were able to see Teddy the pup. He was delish with Nami. It was a welcomed short visit!

Now we are heading outside to have a run. I wonder if Nami will attempt to keep up.

Dogs, including the rescue Georgie are loving the cooler weather.

There is an update in Leti's blog. Please send your photos to me so I can update the blogs!
