Off They Go

Stormy's last pup departed yesterday. Willows last will depart tomorrow and Leti's last on Sunday. Between individual 8 week visits and individual departures, we are tired. When you wake up at 7am and feel tired, a nap is calling. Okay - that's what Nathan says. I should say the pool is calling but when the last departs, we will be heading to Ashbridges Estates to see Treasure's mom.I am so excited to see them both! I will take photos. I have never been to Ashbridges Estate. I promised to bring lunch but I am not sure what is around there. Panera's Bread is closed in Richmond Hill. Kate really enjoyed that last time. Still exploring.

Then in 6 days Raven has xrays. Oh boy.

I am looking forward to taking dogs in the pool. We have a few visitors and our own to swim and click and relax. Maybe my outdoor couch will make it outside. I have been waiting and the guys have used there was NO room for it so what will the excuse be come Sunday night. This couch turns into a bed so I can laze outside with the dogs around me. They give me comfort. So - it's time. Stay tuned!

Oh and Sunday night gin and tonic is calling!

Having been home now for two days with Summer and Meadow, I truly have such enormous gratitude for the work you both put into these pups. They are amazing because of you. We are adjusting to having to run after 2 now, I honestly don't know how you did it with 15 AND manage to do all the grooming, visits, departures etc. and look after your own doggies at the same time....not to mention having a "life?" I do hope you get a few days before Raven's pups make their entrance to recharge some and soak in the pool with a cool gin & tonic!

No life - just work but they are all worth it and families that are happy - makes all the effort fade away. Yes, we need a break sorely!
