Run Run Got to Have Fun

Here is the gallery.

We have a full house this weekend as kids are going to university with their parents driving them. Everywhere from McGill to Queens and Western. Busy times for parents and fun time for the dawgs here.

It is interesting how the universities have changed things this year. It is interesting to hear.

Today I slipped on the kitchen floor. Nathan had just cleaned up a section of the floor and I didn't realize. as I had slippers on, down I went and my wrists are killing me. What an excuse to have a gin and tonic. LOL My neck and shoulder - only one is in pain. Tomorrow is a new day.

Dogs were running a ton today. They were really having a blast. I laid on a raft on the pool today for 20 min and then had to get out. The sun just kept going in and I was chilling. Strange as it was warm. I am not sick. I think Nathan shut off the pool heat. I am checking it in the morning as it is supposed to be hot tomorrow. They say cooler air is coming in on Monday. Please no.... Still need summer. :-)

OMG....Darlah, you have had too many mishaps this year.
When we are too busy and tired things happen too easy.
I hope you are OK tomorrow......Susan

This was STUPID. Who knew slippers with a rubber bottom could cause a slippage. Really... Lately my feet are always cold even when it is hot so I have been using slippers. If Nathan had told me he just cleaned - but I really thought these were non slip slippers. Funny when you try to brace yourself from a fall what ends up hurting and it happens so fast. Neck pain. wrist pain, only 1 shoulder and upper back pain forearm pain. Today I am getting more bandages so if I need to groom tomorrow and I still hurt, I will have my wrists stay in place. Accidents are STUPID.

Re: cold feet, maybe its the air conditioning. I'm sitting here typing and my feet/ankles/knees/shins are cold too, I'm in bare feet as well. Check if the rubber on the slipper bottoms are still soft to grip. Some are not slip proof.
Actually if I'm watching tv, etc, I usually cover my legs with a blanket even in summer just to keep them warm since they often ache from me running around, up and down stairs, gardening, cleaning, you know, work!

Dorothy: Great ideas! These were LLBean slippers the kids bought for me a few years ago. They are hardly used. They do have a rubber bottom that looks new. I am living on aleve and tylenol 1s. I wrap my wrists when grooming - which helps. Accidents are STUPID!
