Crawling Into Bed
As this is Nathan's day off, I do double duty. I am sitting here at 7pm and wishing I was in bed but the dogs are full of energy and I suspect it is due to this really cold weather. We have all the plants in but 1 and I am not sure but I think tomorrow Dennis will attempt to do it himself.
The dogs ran and ran and ran. Brewer was here and loving it and Coco plays a little but now that she is older, she likes to cuddle and watch tv. Chester and Harlow play like the crazy dogs they are and Chester likes pups. Sometimes they don't when they get a tad older as they have no patience but sometimes they appreciate the young things. Murphy says to Nathan - let's go upstairs and chill. LOL She is a smart one.
Another short blog. Heat is now on so we don't have to wear coats in the house. That Nathan... I guess we aren't going to have the door and windows open now. Though they say the exchange of air all winter long is good but what 10 minutes of cold rushing through? Hmm and kaching kaching that meter will run. LOL The dogs may like it though. I may have to buy a super sized heating blanket and wrap it around the dogs and I. I think nathan must be in man-o-pause. Yes, I am laughing.

I brought in mine on thurs, but still holding out for the bay leaf and Azalea that can tolerate the cold. Tubers will be dug up once the leaves and stalks die down.
We still have 2 windows and the skylight open, it's such a small house the heat from all our bodies and the fridge and cooking keep the house warm and my mom always said 'if you're cold put a sweater on'. I like the cooler air too, but might put the warmer quilt on tonight.
Pixie has always liked snuggling in the duvet on the futon watching Tom work on the computer in the basement, she likes it quiet. And Leo is never not far from me, watching me cook and making sure I don't leave. He hates when I leave for my riding but both are so happy when I return.
Dorothy: Good for you! We still have a 4 foot planter to haul in and it's not easy but hoping tomorrow.
I can wear sweaters not winter coats in the house. Nathan always liked it warm but this year it has changed. I worry that its his health but he's getting a full workup on Wednesday before a pup goes home. LOL Me, I used to love the cool, crisp air in fall - winter I can do without but lately I am freezing and so is Dennis so he gave in.
Murphy loves to nap!
