Lean Blog

Two pups departed. Another had a bath. We had comb outs and the gardeners were back to do clean up so our yard was only accessible to the dogs between times. So no gallery but the dogs still had fun. No gardeners tomorrow so we will go back to our usual photos. LOL

Dennis is freaking out in a big way as our trees and garden is rather sparse and cut back but it was needed so we can start anew. Even our Japanese maple was trimmed back and I cringed about that but I embrace the start anew so it can get overgrown again theme. Every now and then you have to do a hari kari on some of it. LOL

It was a warm day. Even when I comb out the dogs, 10 min later or less they look like I didn't touch them but that also means they are playing. I think I would rather the play than just laying around.

Another pup departs tomorrow.

I am sure you will be happy in the Spring. It is a little shocking when everything is cut back but it is so good for the trees. If we don't do it the inside seems to die. I think I have one like that in my backyard. Love the pic. They all look so relaxed :)

Ronnie: They cut the wrong tree in the front. I am so upset as it makes the front look so exposed. They are going to put a cedar for free in the spot so we gain back our privacy again. It was an honest mistake but Nathan was at his stress test and I was busy getting pups departing and then I looked. It was done and I went oh oh. Nathan said its ok. It will grow back in a few years. I said no, put the cedar up. I was impressed that they made a mistake and offered to rectify it. Nathan said to me privately, I am glad you said something to them. I hope they do it soon as its cool coming.

Did I tell you our garage door opener had a sparkly meltdown - almost an electrical fire. This is some year - not.

I say this and I know the same for you - major major hugs. What was said at the unveiling was really wonderful!
