T.G.I.F.

14 stairs up and down about 10 plus times a day. Thank gad for friends. Dorothy left cookies for Dennis. He is quite pleased and thankful. He so loves sweets and doesn't gain. How can that be? Sylvia is doing a Costco run for me with items needed. Plus getting takeout food for us. I am so thankful. I am actually so tired I am not capable of driving. I usually don't recognize that.

As soon as I get my energy up I am going to bring Tenshi up to see Nathan. They have this thing going. Oh, she loves me but nathan.... hmm wonder if she will react to his smell. It has to be getting better as Rebel is just crazy excited and no tail down at him but she is really bonding with me and I am so trying not to have that happen.

Marcie and Shlomo was here playing like crazy getting spruced up. I need to do my own dogs. Oh well, that will come.

It's rather cold so we went from 68f to 70f in the house as Nathan was too cold with lots of blankets on. I did heat up some blankets for the dogs when they came in. They loved it! Here is the gallery.

Oh and pretty sure Misty and Raven are pregnant.

Just out of curiosity, did Tenshi check up on Nathan? Did she approve his recovery so far ?

Yes, she went up to see him. Gave him a couple of licks. She did want to smell him up so it is something with the smell. I can't smell it but the dogs do. Thank you for yesterday. Nathan had french toast without syrup and a pineapple wedge. I m not used to juggling his meals with the dogs meals. So much juggling to do but each day gets better. Cooking is a chore. Nathan used to have toast for breakfast and he made it himself. He wants it first but I have to get water out, let dogs out, get dog dishes set up and Dennis feeds while I make food for Nathan. I then take weight, check incisions, shower, meds, blood pressure and heart monitoring. Then I eat either his leftovers or a muffin. LOL Now grooming. He took his shower himself today - progress! His blood pressure is still high but maybe they will adjust on Monday with dr visit. Headaches seem to be the usual with the hydromorphone. Fun but it helps to vent so thank you. I wake up exhausted. LOL He did his walking today with Ella heeling back and forth with him. It's interesting as she misses him the most. I give Raven and Misty extra special attention at night.

Make sure to let Nathan be sedentary for at least 15 min post any moving around and then take at least 2 readings to get average, if you have an automated BP. Instrument it will do it by itself, best to leave the room aswell, your presence might I increase his BP( I know from my own experience)
He's doing great!👍

Darlah, interesting that Tenshi is smelling out Nathan. When Will has a minor surgery, Tenshi would get close to the incision and smell it.
You do have a lot of your plate, wish I live closer and help you out a bit more.
Very glad that Nathan is doing great! Practicing heeling is such a great way to exercise!
