Visitors in the House

Daisy was here and she couldn't stop playing as you will see in the gallery. I wonder if she is tired tonight. :-) Gucci was here but not many photos of her as she was groomed then off she went. She had fun before she departed though!

Magic was being a cheeky thing playing with me after she was groomed. She was having fun and so was I.

Short blog tonight as blogging is getting later and later but there are lots of photos. :-0

Dear Darlah, You are dealing with so much and yet you still offer to help others....if the world had more kind and caring people like you we would be a much better place. Thank you for your offer , but your kind words are more than enough. Your injury is no small thing and I hope it is better soon. Manny is seeing the surgeon tomorrow and as you know I can't go in to the hospital with him. He is in a very large cast right now and will probably need pins and plates in his leg, but he is a fighter and will get through this. He wants me to tell you how much Abby is comforting him .She knows somethings wrong and cuddles with him. Normally she jumps all over him and constantly stuffing her toys in his face. Now she is careful and and curls up beside him quietly. What a wonderful companion...thanks again Susan, Manny, Zoey and sweet little Abby

Magic looks great. I have not seen a photo of her in a while.

Kathy: Covid - so I have not seen her for a bit. She loved it here. I think they are missing the interactions as much as us humans are.

Susan: Our son Jon had a ski accident and had his leg operated on. It never healed right so they had to break it and redo with a new surgeon. :-) He has his boot on now and it comes off in a couple of weeks. He already says he feels the difference. Before he had constant severe pain. I tell you this as he needs a good surgeon and Jon's first surgeon was new. Get one with experience. He will heal and be okay. Falling can be dangerous.

Manny will get through it. I meant what I said - if you need anything, I am here.
Give the girls hugs from us, please! Sounds like Abby is intuitive - nice!

Thanks Darlah, Yes I agree about getting a good surgeon. The one he is getting has extra training and experience with lower limb trauma reconstruction and all his ratings are good , so we are hoping for the best. The biggest problem is Manny is 80 and healing is much more difficult. Just trying to stay positive..The worst thing is family and friends can't come and help us, but I know you and Nathan have experienced the same issues. I'm glad to hear Nathan can be around the dogs again , they make everything so much more bearable....Hugs to all of you..Susan, Manny, Zoey and last but definitely not least Miss Abby..

Yes Darlah I totally agree about the doctor. The surgeon he is getting had special training and experience in reconstruction of lower limb trauma and has very good ratings so we are hoping for the best. The problem is that Manny is 80 and healing at that age is more difficult. We are trying to stay positive. I'm glad to hear that Nathan is able to be with the dogs again. They make everything more bearable.
Hugs to all of you...Susan. Manny, Zoey and last but definately not least Miss Abby

Susan: He's not really. He can do in small doses controlled. Progress.

I am going to stay positive with Manny. One of our friends at 85 just had hip surgery and he is doing really well. What I am finding is staying positive actually helps. Kicking their butt to do what you need to also helps. LOL
