Warmer But Rain?

Who needs to eat when you can have more fun guarding it, says Roxie.

Here is the gallery.

Long day so I am rather tired. Dogs all had fun. Dallas hasn't been here for a long time so it was good to see her. We had a full house of day/grooming visitors.

Warm weather is coming and rain they say - joy. Why do I bother to wash the dogs? LOL

I usually bath my 2 Saturday every 2 weeks, I find keeping them cleaner helps with their coat and skin and the mats, especially Leo, doesn't get too unmanageable.
But with the rain and snow, yuck and bad timing, the remainder of the snow on the ground will definitely turn real slick, everyone be careful.
I'll be ordering that dematt conditioner for Leo, I wanted to drive up myself to pickup in Bolton, excuse for a drive with my 2😁
Funny, my 2 won't guard anything for long, food=eat it NOW!

Which demat? Maybe I have some for you to try?

Roxie is a senior now and plays a game which she is not serious about. She watches everyone eat then they try to get hers and she growls at them. I know it is a game as she lets the puppy Rebel steal though she puts on a big show to tell her not.

I am washing mine today - they need it but I find it may be a joke to do so. So much effort for what - to get soaked - especially Rebel. Truffie needs it badly due to all his connections. LOL

The Natures Specialty super Ez dematt that you mentioned (jan 4) for Leo's coat a few weeks back.
I would love to check out inside Deboers in Bolton, it would be like a candy shop for me(or food store, or garden centre or tackshop)🤣 Do you need anything from Deboers that I can pick up for you, they are probably swamped with getting orders delivered, could save them the hassle, and I, with my 2, love to go for a drive.
Any suggestions for curved shears, I do have a 8.5 in straight Geib Gator shear, I want to do a better job with the feet, not too pricey since I'm not a pro groomer and don't use shears often.

I can give you some to try. There is nothing to see at Deboers. LOL They have a little entry way with some products and the rest you ask to see. I so need to get scissors and thinners sharpened but it will have to wait, Was hoping before pups as I have to shop or wait till they are done and make an appt for a rush job. LOL

I HATE covid or we could go together.

Dorothy: I have Titan Entree curved that I can give you but they are 7s. I also have some thinning shears I can give you. The entrees are here. The thinning shears are chris christensens - high end but I rarely use. Just a small way I can return the favour. I can also fill up a container on the dematting. Just give me a time you can come by as this stuff is like a slug moving from one bottle to the next. LOL

I was actually looking at 7in curved, easier to hold in my hands. Have not ever used thinners, maybe I should with Leo, lol. I trust that dematt stuff works, I'll just order some for myself, no need to pour over some, you don't have the time, haha!
If you pack up your shears you need sharpened I could pick them up to deliver to Deboers for non rush sharpening, don't think they are doing rush jobs yet, just do half, then when they are finished I can pickup your other half to be sharpened, go pick ones done and deliver back 1st sharpened back to you, then once 2nd are sharpened, just retrieve those back to you. You can also put in a supply order and I could do that at the same time. I want to put an order in aswell. This driving just reminds me of going to horse horses, haha! And I miss that, sigh.
DDD (Dorothy's Dedicated Delivery)LOL

Well the thinners are not to thin the coat out. It is to put a finishing touch on the feet so it looks natural - same with length in body. I like 8 inch but I started with 7 inch. I still use them at time - 7 inchers. To start, I suggest cutting with straights a box on each foot and using the curves to cut the 4 corners to make it round. Then as you get used to it, you don't have to box each foot.

I like the drive to Deboers. Just wish it wasn't covid times.

Yup, the thinners would do that, not thinking, not yet fully doggy trimming trained, finishing.
Just thinking of Cooper, now that there is one amazing coat.
Its horse shows that I miss, duh!
