First Swim 2021

Well not planned but even I got my bathingsuit on but I clicked and never made it in as I have all this stuff to do. Nathan, Misty and Ella were the only ones that went in and it was all but for 10 minutes but these 2 gals thought they had died and went to heaven. It is about how I would feel if teh sun had stayed out and I had enough time to enjoy.

Here is the gallery.

I asked Nathan if he had combed out the gals and he said not Misty as she has short hair. I said what? You always have to comb out after a swim no matter the length. So guess what I will be doing after blogs.

Everyone is enjoying this weather. It is about time!

Yes, your Bailey had a blast as you can see!

Dorothy: Yes she so loves the water and so does Ella. Got to get the rest out swimming but not when so busy. I had to comb out the 2 after swimming then Dennis had me hacking down all my plants to put outside as we got a white fly infestation just in his room - oh joy. they either survive or not. Pond in front is clean and running. I think I need to lay some sod. LOL

Yes, we have the new pool heater going but we are paying for it each month till December. Very costly and may need a new salt water cell too but can't pull that off so we shall figure that out too eventually. We have a semi cloudy pool but with chlorine in short supply and I do not want the dogs in it well... This is a VERY costly year. I think we have a curse on us. LOL Good news the pool cleaner works well. Pool equipment is in short supply this year due to a record number of pool installations for the 2nd year. Some can't get installed till next year and unless you bought a package that included all the equipment you may be out of luck with most heaters. We got the last one for our sized pool in Ontario. Our pool is old but in good condition. When they changed the vinyl, the concrete didn't even have hairline cracks in it. It seems we have no shifting here. We have had our pool for over 25 years - more like 30 - a basic pool that we installed for 13,000 including basic equipment. Now they go for over 35 to 40 grand without equipment. We would not have a pool today at that cost. We use our pool every single day throughout the season. Of course its more enjoyable with visitors. Thank you, covid NOT. I am very thankful I at least have the pool as an escape and the dogs are beyond thrilled too as you see in the photos. I live for the pool. But I am hoping a few more years before these costs again. I am still paying Raven off. Who knew she would end up being 6 grand plus. Nathan says 7500. I do not want to think about it. Just glad Raven and 3 cuties all made it through - meant to be!
