Long Day in Paradise

As you can see the weeds are growing. Have to laugh. I get one area done and look around and its all so overwhelming but we will get there.

I will tell you that at my local Loblaws store there is everything from herbs to lettuces, to peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers - all veggies for $1 a piece and larger for $3. They even have strawberries and NICE ones but I have mine. I almost wanted to buy more as we eat strawberries like crazy but I resisted and it took a lot out of me. HAHA They are all in good shape. I got lettuce as I did not have any and got 3 types. I was shocked they are already clearing out but they said no one has come since the May 24 weekend. Huh. There was about 4 other people whn I was there.

Some of my plants I brought indoors did not survive but I still have them dead looking in pots remaining hopeful. Hope is a good thing.

Here is the gallery.

The dogs love the plants. As they tend to use them for walking paths not as things to admire - well- That's okay.

We have a full house here today. It's been a LONG time. Business has been exceedingly slow as no one is going anywhere but let's hope as things get less restrictive. We genuinely miss the dogs and worry that dogs are not interacting with others during covid. A few come and get their play in and good for them. It gives them a great time and they get more well rounded.

Nava that departed earlier was highly fascinated with the puppies. It was a no swimming day and it should have been a planting of lettice day buy was it? Too late today. I know you slacker but I say shall I or shall I rest? Wonder which one will win.

I just bought today 3 good size clematis, 1 nice Delphinium and 2 other 4in pot perennials for $17, would have cost me $80. So much still in all the garden centres, it's actually sad, 24 weekend shopping rush and then no one is interested anymore. I've noticed this the past few years.
I'd plant more vegs but the backyard is maturing and neighbor's trees are overgrowning and then I have squirrels that have already dug up the last remaining strawberry plant and are thrilled with all the freshly turned soil.
I should check out your trug.

Trigger always smells the flowers. 🥰. Levon just pees on my plants. 🙄
