What Weather

Here is Coco, Pepper and Sage playing.

Here is the gallery.

It rained and then stopped. We let the dogs sniff around the back yard. They do not like the wet ground but it got worse. After we just got them inside the rain came down where you couldn't even see for hours. We had rain seeping in the doors. Towels blocking. A patio flooded and a pool filled above capacity. I love storms. I do not like the work this one created but the fresh air after - wow nice!

Poor Ripley said really outside in this? He was not the only one. Murphy REFUSES to go out. Now they have just eaten and Dennis is having a terrible time getting them to want to go out. It's no longer raining so... but wet feet and all. Can you blame them? I was going to groom some of my dogs but figured that was counterproductive.

Hope the rest of you missed this one or at least you were inside and it didn't cause any flooding for you. The havs say life is always interesting with these humans.

I went out with Tenshi so she can at least pee. She quickly peed and quickly runs back to the front door. What about poopoo? She’s like “no way I’m going back out there!”

Yes Murphy has her stubborn streak

Yes the dogs was funny and not sure you got it as hard as us but ours was coming down so hard it seeped in the doorways. Towels down to protect the inside. The dogs all said no way but Murphy even when it stopped said are you kidding me! Tenshi is related. LOL

We got ours out between those massive downpours. And because it was such short times I think neither wanted to come in, "we need to lick the grass mom'. I think mine have been conditioned to country living, I have taken them to the barn and a few horse shows.
At least the lawn and gardens are watered, yippee! Gardens this year are amazing, both hydrangeas bloomed, 1 blue and pink on the same bush, never had this happen before.

I agree the gardens are lush. Including the weeds. Rusty hates the wet but Luna goes out in any weather. Luna gets spayed in Tuesday. I’m getting anxious 😣

Pepper looks like she's making friends with Coco :)

Pepper is going to miss Coco but Sage has been wonderful with her and her with Sage even when Sage corrected her. LOL

Ronnie:

Luna is spunky. I rather like that. She's like her mom and like Hallie. they embrace life. Luna will be okay. she will be in pain for a few days but the biggest pain is watching her not try to go after her stitches. If you need help, let us know.

Dorothy: Thank you again for today. Your hydrangeas are so gorgeous. Our rain was so heavy you could not see from the house to the pool. What a downpour. It sure cleared the air and I want to say sorry. My brain is disengaged. I should have given you a sweater. You left and i went oh my gad she was cold. So sorry..

Don't be sorry, it was just the temp chg from the car to outside. I was fine, once I got to the barn, lugged my grooming kit, helmet, water bottle, those apples to the stall, fetched my lesson horse from the muddy field(always worry I'll slip and go down in tbe mud, lol), groomed her, had my lesson indoors in the arena, I was warmed up.
I do have extra clothes in the car to cover up, usually I have to strip off soon after I start riding, I heat up fast.
It's the standing around that gets me chilled. Thank you for your kind offer.
