Say Prayers
Nathan picked up Katie last night and an ambulance was called for her mom. May she rally and come home soon. I couldn't get her off my mind all last night and this morning.
Katie is enjoying herself.
It is my day off. Nathan and Dennis are going to the dump while I watch the dogs. They say they have 2 runs. We shall see and Ronnie, Elana and I are heading to Lonestar tonight. I look forward to the company and the yum margaritas. My days off are usually not a day off unless I go somewhere.
Thursday we head out to Nathan's brothers house for a luncheon. His brother has inoperable cancer so they are going to travel everywhere he wants. I say good for them!
Nathan continues to clean his office/den. It should be done today. Now to get all the boxes out of the hallway.
It's raining and they say cooling off. <sigh> Guess I best dress warm. Here is the gallery inside as it is raining.
Ziggy departed. His play monkey self will be missed. Happy to see his human parents, happy to come. It's how it should be.

Wishing Katie’s Mom well. I am very sorry about Nathan’s brother.
So sorry to hear about Nathans brother....
I'm sure Katies mom is relieved that her fur baby is in a safe and loving place so she can concentrate on getting well and back home
HUGS to all...Susan
Thank you Darlah for taking such great care of Ziggy (as usual)!! It's so nice to be back home again with him. Going by the pictures it looks like he was having fun up until the very last minute. He's also so clean - and he stayed that way despite the wet pavement. He calmed down almost immediately in the car and slept until bedtime with a brief wakeup for his dinner. He's now back to his usual perch on the sofa which gives him a perfect view of outside - probably daydreaming about his adventures over the past few weeks!
I'm so sorry to hear about Katie's mom - I hope she's better soon.
I'm also sorry to hear about Nathan's brother - I hope they manage to fit in lots of treasured memories.
So glad Ziggy is back to his perch but we do miss his antics. :-) Glad you got to get away. Anytime!
