Lots of Grooming

Here is the gallery.

Mr Benji and his partner in crime had their baths today. Yesterday they had a full comb out and I finished the job today. They don't go home for 2 weeks but they have been beach playing. Today I had 4 other dogs to do and really I should do 1 more as they leave at 9am. That means starting grooming before breakfast. I am mulling it over.

I should find room for the turkey to defrost in the fridge. This will be like a rearranging craziness thing going on as I simply do not have room.

It was rainy this morning and overcast but warm most of the day. I went out a few times between dogs to get some fresh air. The dogs seem to like this weather. Tomorrow downright cold so maybe good I need to groom.

The dogs really like someone new arriving. You can see their excitement but especially Jax. He's a riot. Oh new fun....

Darlah, did you end up getting a very small turkey? A 16 lb takes 4 days to thaw… 🤔

I think so ….. 😆 I do a day per 5 lbs and add another so I’m not wrestling w/ it.
Too bad it’s not cold outside. My Mom used to use the garage for all kinds of big refrigerated food items. I knew when I came home from school and saw the huge pressure cooker in the backyard, that it was turkey soup for dinner. We all survived! 🤣
