It's Truly Deep Fall

Here is the gallery.

Places in Ontario got snow but not us. We still have some leaves on the trees. It is cool. The sun is out bright. The dogs are invigorated by the coolness. They are enjoying in and out and play. They are jumping through the leaves like crazy. We had a service booked for leaf clean up but they won't return our calls. It will have to wait till after Nathan gets back before Dennis can do anything. He will be sleeping days - me night and one of us will be up when the other is not.

In a couple of days Nathan will be away for a week. Oh boy! We will survive. When he gets back, we will have Sage getting her xrays. It will be a busy house.

I will be combing my dogs here and there. Some are going. Some are departing.

One of our dog parents is moving into Amica Retirement on Friday and gets to bring their dog so we are - well I am - getting their dog spruced up for her move with mom and dad. I hope she likes it there as it is a busy place.

So happy that that family can bring their dog with them to Amica! Love that they can stay together. ❤️

That’s wonderful that this family is taking their dog to Amica with them. I’m sure it will make a HUGE difference in their transition to life there. I know Sunrise encourages it too and many dogs & cats roam free. I did & do discourage the roam free aspect as many well intentioned residents will hand feed the pets causing some health issues. But that’s easily solved if pets are kept on leash and in their apt.

Debi: We heard they are trying it out for 2 months. They are not selling their house yet. They have moved in but have not heard how the transition went. I hope its going well for Amy and her humans.

The trial period is great and hope it’s long enough. My parents went very tearful, but it was their decision. After 1 month they both loved it there. I hope this couple do too, especially if they need assistance. Lots to keep them busy if they partake in activities. 🙏

I hope so too and yes they need assistance. They will be having their caretakers with them as well that are there on shifts. It's quite costly.

It is indeed!
