Play of It Mid Week

This is going to be a very short blog. We got called to come tonight to see Ruth. We had planned Friday. The doctor said no - tonight. So - this is Dennis day off. But we must go.
Dogs had fun. Dogs departed. Some arrived for the day and well fun was had and I had a ton of grooming.
I did Koda and Astro's head 3 times each and still they managed to make it interesting. I so laugh.
Ms Leti is here for a visit too. It is so good to see her. I think her momma is cancer free now. We celebrate!
Ms. Harlow is departing tonight and so is Koda. Mr. Dash already departed and so did Luna and Rusty!

Ruth is not going to make it. There is no recovery. I do not know what day but I do know it is soon. Dr. felt she wouldn't last till Friday so she called us to come in to see her. Her body is shutting down. It is so sad but honest, Nathan and I looked at each other and said we need to talk in case either of us are in this shape. This is existing not living and she is in an incredible amount of pain.
We became friends with Ruth when she got Katie. I still have garden tools she gave me when she sold her house. We have Katie here.
I hope I can sleep after the visit tonight but most of all, I hope she can.
It is heart wrenching news for Ruth. So incredibly sad. I just pray doctors can keep her out of as much pain as possible so she can rest peacefully. I have lived through this kind of situation now twice with close family...it is not something anyone can ever be prepared enough for. Hugs to Katie as well.
I’m very sorry to hear Ruth’s prognosis. Very sad indeed. I’m sure she feels at peace knowing her dear Katie has a home with you. 🙏
