Hot Day Chilling

Here is the gallery.

This is Jeannie air drying and chilling. She actually walked in the pool and laid on the steps. It's my day off so I will have to comb her out tomorrow. She has a wild kinky look to her.

It's a hot day and will be hotter tomorrow. Dogs don't stay out long but Jeannie is sort of extra attached to me so where I go, she tends to.

Tomorrow I have some grooming to do but we will get pool time in. We must as it is perhaps the last hoorah.

I do know Tobi, Oreo and Coco goes home and I am not sure who else is coming for grooming so we shall see how tomorrow goes. It is also our son, Joseph's birthday so if I don't remember that, I am toast.

Nica was here for the day and had a blast. Barney cancelled. Opus arrived. Lola departed.

Lots of play was going on. King Kong and Panda play with others but they certainly love each other.

Ahh, isn’t Jeannie so cute! How old is she now? I remember when Nathan brought her home. She was quite the wild one. Is she still? Laci has always been an old soul. No patience for immature dogs. Always wondered if it’s b/c she has older parents, or did the pairing just karma?! She’ll be 12 this Feb & is slowing down a bit, but still has good stamina on her walks. It’s the after long naps she now needs, just like us!
Have a wonderful long weekend. We sadly said goodbye to the older 3 grandchildren off to university. I so admire the fun they’re all having.

She's 13 now and she has slowed down. Will swim a lap or 2 and then appreciate the couch and me. She spoons me at night. She will on occasion play or get irritated at the pups that won't leave her alone. She remains a character. It sounds like Laci is the same.

The grandkids are going to have fun.
