Gloomy Day

Here is the gallery.

It is my day off. No one is getting brushed. Above is Charlotte who departs tomorrow. She will be missed as well as the antics of Jamie. He's a real riot!

Nathan saw a urologist and they found a significant growth on his prostrate so they have him in for an MRI slated for the 1st cancellation as MRIs are 5 months from now. I am worried but don't want him to know as when I am worried, he gets worried. So, unless he brings it up - and he may, avoid the subject. We have a debate to worry about. Yeah, I am trying to make the leap to another subject.

Dogs are in a bit of a funk today. They were not into the chase game. That is okay. That happens every now and then. There is no rhyme or reason. They are just not into it that day. Some were but most wanted to just watch.

It looks like a gloomy day out. Ms Astro departed and her family brought me yum lime infused gin. I may need some of THAT. LOL

Sherry and I went to Walmart today and found the grocery choices are interesting and cheaper. I actually went to buy a pair of sweats. I bought a large a couple of weeks ago and they were too big but 2 Walmarts didn't have them in stock except for xlarge and large. So, I ordered online and they are almost completely out. I don't usually buy clothes from Walmart but these were incredibly soft and no wonder why as they are almost sold out. Sounds strange for it's still summer. Is it?

We may go to bed early tonight. I know I will as we will be up late tomorrow - dogs and us. Some know when it is bedtime so they may give us a hard time. We used to have a tv in the bedroom but not anymore.

Wow Charlotte, what a gorgeous tail!

I hope Nathan can get his MRI sooner. For all the pain and frustration with this broken ankle, the health system has been great. I had surgery less than 48hrs after it was decided that was what was needed, they kept me over night last minute post op and there were beds, I saw physio before I left hospital and they even surveyed me post op to see if there was anything they could have done better. It has been a good experience so far…except I can’t walk yet!

Looking forward to the debate too…fingers crossed it goes better than last

So sorry to hear that about Nathan. Please don’t worry until you hear there is something to worry about. I have been rushed to an MRI a couple of times without negative outcome. 🤗

What a worry Darlah. Hopefully the MRI will be scheduled very soon.
See you tomorrow.

I concur, can't worry till you get more information, as they say 'breathe'.
Hoping for a quick and positive outcome.

We are going to concentrate on the debate tonight. I have gin - thank you to Astro's parents and will get Nathan to get double layered popcorn. Hopefully Harris will do well. I do not need any bad news. I need a serious distraction. We have had our full as of late. Good to know being put on a cancellation list can be nothing. We hope! Nathan's younger brother is going for his 3rd prostrate operation. He has cancer. Both Nathan's mother and father died from cancer.

I think Charlotte resembles Sadie, especially with the black face and long white hair on tail. Very cute. My husband had recently been given an April 1, 2025 date for an MRI. He decided to call daily and enquire about cancellations. He called this morning and was given an appointment time of tomorrow at 6:30 a.m. It's worth making a call.

Despite his urine being high for sugars his endocrinologist said the ozempic and metformin and jardiance (spelling?) is showing high as his sugar is flushing out. So good news. I called today for an MRI. Nothing so far. Your hubby needed an MRI? Hope not too serious. I wouldn't worry about Nathan but his brother has cancer in his prostrate. They said it was inoperable but they are still doing surgeries and attempting to burn it off. Never heard of such a procedure but he is going in for his 3rd surgery. We remain hopeful. I am worried. I need to not have stress for a few days to recover as my blood pressure is mighty high. I never have high but decided to check. Life...
