Snow and Rain

Here is the gallery.

It rained. It snowed - it rained again. It is a crazy April. Usually by now we have an odd warm day.

Still, the dogs ran and played and had a ton of fun.

Willow has recovered but I am not sure we did from the cost - close to 2500. It was unexpected and hard to deal with. She was supposed to go in for a check up but as she is fine, we are delaying cause it is yet another cost. We do have a doggie dentist up north that the people who clean teeth referred us to but as we didn't realize it was a tooth, we were stuck with the costs. You live and learn.

For those that are dealing with stock prices, I feel for you. One of our dog people said it took their retirement away. I feel so awful.

I think everyone needs warmth and to come swimming!

Today I washed and heated up blankets and the dogs are snuggled in. Some dogs love the warmth of a warm blanket. Harlow is one of them.

I remember those naive days so long ago when I thought getting a dog would be the most expensive part of owning a dog. Hahaha! They say you can’t put a price on love, but the vet really, really tries sometimes 🤣🤣🤣

Last year, I spent over $25,000 on Asal’s care. Despite everything I did for her, I lost her because of one medical mistake — all because of that careless vet

Atousa: I am not sure what I would have done if her bill was that much. That is awful. You did everything you could. Hugs!!!

Atousa, that’s awful! The loss is always difficult but that must have been beyond heartbreaking. I’m with Darlah, hugs to you.

Oh, I am so sorry you lost Asal, I didn't know. I can't imagine what your family went through, and poor Asal!

Thank you Darlah , Sue and Dorothy for your kind words ,
