The dogs are playing outdoors but they seem to be enjoying indoors more.
Harlow was patient for her food this morning. Yes, I am laughing as she usually can't stand waiting till its prepared and the pups had to be fed 1st. Quietly she waited. This was a first. LOL
Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 5:00PM The dogs seem to enjoy the winter outdoor play sessions when it is not too cold. We have a video where the snow was blowing and only 2 wanted to do out in that. You will have to look at the videos to see who that was.
A number of dogs have departed today. Tomorrow Rue and Leo depart - Daisy and Murphy Tuesday. The fun has been amazing.
Now it is quiet time and me trying to figure out Teksavvy tv. We are putting it on the tvs, on the laptop and ipads. No more PVR as you save to the cloud. I have to test that. Savings is great but less channels. I have found you don't watch all the channels and well only time I do is while drying a dog or at night, when sick or on a day off. So who needs TV anyways? LOL
Now off to lay in a recliner with the dogs. It is Sunday, after all. What does that mean? I haven't a clue!

Dogs played. They hung out and had a great time. They are still doing so.
A friend asked what I want for my birthday next month and peace would be it. I know impossible but what a grand thought!

It is an ice skating rink out there and Lucky and Oakley are having a great time.
Dennis was out trying to pick ax some spots but it is impossible. Dogs had fun. I warmed a bunch of blankets and put them in the tv room and they all snuggled in and out of them. I guess they appreciated it. When it is cold, you ought to try.
Nathan is taking a nap with the visitors. They certainly seem to run upstairs with him when it is time and they all know the drill. Some choose to go and others decide to not.
Me, I will lay with a bunch in the recliner when I am done the blogs.
PS: Resident Alien has really gone downhill but perhaps it always has been. LOL I miss Expanse!
Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 5:42PM Dennis was outdoors. I was inside and managed to get a few of Shlomo looking indoors but playing. He has now departed but it was a real fun morning.
Here is Lucky and Pepper. Pepper had a bath and I cut her down little by little as she was antsy on the grooming table. This is unusual for her. It was better than everytime she moved cutting out chunks out of her. LOL She is shorter now than this photo. I think she was just in play mode. With just having a new human baby presented to her, she was in deep desire to play like crazy all day. She should sleep tonight.
Everyone had fun indoors and out.
The dogs do know how to have fun!

It is so rainy outdoors. We are dealing with leaks. I know this is getting old but every raindtorm and every meltdown is a cleanup.
So, dogs are and have been playing inside. Meadow, Kally, Ellie have departed and Ollie and Bailey will depart tonight.
The dogs are enjoying. I seriously need to lay in the recliner so the blog will be short. Sorry about that but everyone is enjoying! Not to worry. Ms. Tempie needs to allow me sleep.
Monday, February 21, 2022 at 5:38PM This particular relationship started about a month ago. She used to play with Kinsey quite a bit but Kinsey can be like a fly jumping in and out of your face. Halle isn't the only one she plays with but she is the one that Harlow plays with the most. Usually Dennis doesn't capture Halle or Harlow as when it is wet like this, Harlow says - I don't think so. LOL
Halle and Harlow are best buds. They play inside and out and when they rest, they do so either side by side on a bed or bed to bed.
They say more snow is coming. Good as our basement can't handle anymore flooding. We have to remove all the carpet in all the rooms. :-( Not fun and costly.
The dogs had fun on this long weekend. A number have departed and tomorrow Ollie and Meadow departs. They all had a great time. Can you believe we had 3 Ollies here and the dogs were confused when we would call Ollie. LOL
Soon we will do TV time and well I need the recliner. I need to be up to helping Dennis rip uo carpet. It may end up being just him. We shall see.

Misty and her son was sharing a kiss. They did this off and on all day.
The dogs just had plain fun. Ollie, the dog above is now home. Many depart tomorrow. I need a recliner.

I will be short blogging tomorrow too but catch the photos that Dennis took and enjoy how full of life the dogs are.
Katie went home late this morning. She was excited to get her lead on. When she arrived she was pulling towards the door. When they were buzzed in, Katie was let off the lead in the hall and ran to her door. She was excited and so was Ruth. Who says dogs don't remember their humans are fooling themselves. Over 5 months and a wonderful reception. Glad they are reunited.
Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 1:42PM It doesn't matter if in or out but the play has been great and if they go outside, they get SOAKED.
We have the pleasure of dogs that are full of life. Diamond would have loved 1 extra day as would Opus as they were right in the middle of it but so were so many others like Benny, Ollie, Jasper, Barney, Coco, Lucky, Murphy and Meadow. Not a single dog has not been playing. Some are day visitors and some are here for the long weekend. It may be a holiday for the humans but it sure is one for the havanese!
Looks like Katie is going home tomorrow. We are so happy for Katie and Ruth. Katie is going to love being doted on!
Well, till tomorrow... Just know they are having fun!
Friday, February 18, 2022 at 6:46PM We have a few dogs that have had non stop play today. a couple arrived today. You will have to look at the gallery to see who that is but all played. Some just found that they couldn't live without the play.
Tomorrow Diamond and Opus departs so they will be getting baths early. Rue and Lucky arrives which will add even more fun. We can't wait.
In a few days Katie will go home. Ruth is now home for the 1st day in 5 plus months. Wow and bravo for working hard to get home. There is no place like home!

Due to the meltdown and a leak it seems, we had a flood in the basement. Who knew? Now that it is frozen again, no new water flowing in. Yes, we have to check on insurance and a sump pump and playing recovery and ripping up carpet but we will figure it out. Poor Dennis was beside himself working nonstop. Just a bonus of the day. I need a gin and tonic, blanket, dogs and tv after blogs.
Charlotte and Diamond were just beside themselves in play and can you blame them? But they were not the only ones that enjoyed the play indoors to stay out of the rain. Now it is snowing.
Dogs had fun. They always manage to do. Meadow has taken over high on the couch back as just hers.
Benny just arrived and well that reclinber is calling me and the dogs but I have 2 more blogs to do.

Opus and Winston were playing and playing today and Winston was jumping at the camera when I was trying to take his photo. It was a riot.
Ms Meadow has been in exploring mode. She is enjoying herself.

Ruth asked me to take a photo of Katie with a birthday hat. Well, I don't do birthday photos so no hats here and well usually you have to try and try again to really get a photo. We don't do poses but capture movement and shots not posed. So, as Nathan says - it is what it is.
I made the crown - as she really is a queen on my Cricut. Keeping it on was trying but funny.
Katie is also waiting for a date for Ruth to go home so I didn't want to trim and bathe her today. It makes no sense when she may be going home in a few days. Plus I have a heavy grooming schedule. But she has had many baths and trims in the last 4 plus months. I think she is adorable and we tried. Glad the crown worked. It does suit her!
Happy Birthday also to her brother Odin.

All I can say is covid sucks. Lost someone to it today. She was on a road trip in her Tesla to Vegas and I went online to watch her trip. I sort of got lost in it. Sorry... Today in snail mail I actually received 2 presents from her as I had sent her Canadian syrup. She sent me motivating pins and the date from Florida on the envelope was a month ago. Wow... things are mailing slow. Funny, before her trip she got the syrup. Oh well, enough said.
It was definately cold today. I hate damp cold that you feel to your bones.
We had Alfie, Logan and Panda over for the day.
Tomorrow Nathan goes to the vet with Kinsey for shots and Rebel for her year shots. Tomorrow Meadow comes for a week and Winston comes for the day. As it is Katie's Bday soon, I may give her a bath tomorrow depending on how the day goes. I may have to make a birthday hat as I don't have one and really do not want to go in stores to get one. So, I may have to get creative. LOL
Dogs had fun today and they always do. Dennis is napping so I have to finish the puppy blogs now. I feel like soup but Nathan just told me its too late for that. LOL

This is a no gallery day. Amy dropped in and is now home. Ollie came for a few days. Mr. Archie departed too early. LOL Okay, we were up. He was excited to see his momma.
We went to pick up a food order at Longos and went into Pet Value to pick up deicer that is safe for the dogs. Okay, it makes it blue and gritty out there but not sure its totally effective but better than nothing. Dogs are happy inside although we keep taking them out. Dennis said they won't stay out long enough to take photos. It is icy and cold. Tomorrow is a new day.
I have scissors that are really dull and its a chore to ship out a few for Deboers as they no longer do same day service. Deboers are cheaper not counting the gas and time but we shall see how it goes. So, Sherry gave me a mobile guy that I am trying on Friday so no grooming on Friday. Thank you, Sherry! Okay, I have anxiety. Here's hoping it works as that will be better than driving out to Deboers. They do not do clipper blades so those will have to be mailed to Deboers or buy new ones, :-)
Can I say I hate how covid has changed most things.

Are you watching sports today? We used to be HUGE hockey fans but sports is not what we watch when turning on the tv but the dogs and us will be watching the halftime show. Why not!
It is a cold one today and they say it will get colder as the day goes on.
Nathan ordered the Keg dinner for Valentine's Day figuring tomorrow will simply be too busy. Tomorrow Longos and chocolate covered strawberries. LOL It's rare we treat each other but I am getting a chicken Oscar not a steak Oscar as it is cheaper and I like it. I hope pickup vs. eating there still means it is good. We shall see.
I am going to wash up Archie today as he departs at 730am tomorrow. This way I can just brush him out vs getting up at 6am. LOL He has had a tremendous amount of fun. He plays and plays then sleeps and sleeps. Opus and Diamond seems to match his playing level. Chester and Daisy play too but they pace themselves a bit more. It's only 330pm and everyone is napping. I guess it is party time for tv watching tonight. Yes, I am laughing!
I used Ship Shape Cleaner on all our brushes and combs - my grooming and our own and it made my sink sparkle. It makes the brushes and combs extra clean. Best product for brushes and combs by far! My big cleaning for the day.
Oh and I put peanut butter on a lick mat and placed it down. The dogs just LOVE it! I was afraid it would get all over their facial hair but it did not.

Nathan has been cutting everyone's nails. You need to do them on a regular basis. I almost asked him to do mine. LOL
He thanked me for doing the laundry. I said happy valentine's day. Yes, I am laughing. When Cinnamon watches me do the folding, I turn to get another piece and off she goes with socks or underwear. I do get them back but it reminds me that she still can't help herself. Kinsey, on the other hand wants to eat my feet.
Everyone is enjoying the play. Dennis played the find the treat game today. No clear winners but they all got a treat.

Bonham went out along with the rest and was frozen in position for a bit. It's melting and wet and raining. Oh my.
Mr Bonham went for a nap today with Nathan. Another unnamed visitor did not as all she wanted to do was play. LOL
Not much to report except we keep drying - ok I keep drying and well that's the weather for you. Is that Arctic air still coming? I can't keep them brushed out so I will have to wait till I can. Well, that's my excuse. I have only myself to blame if tomorrow it ends up being lots of work.

It's the great meltdown and Dennis hardly took any photos. Sorry about that and get this, Nathan took a bunch of Coco and half came out so blurry, they were unusable. It was THAT kind of a day.
We had Coco here. Astro is departing shortly. Diamond arrived and Chester arrives later tonight.
It is wet and mucky out there. Some of the dogs insisted on staying on the deck. LOL They say cold is coming.
Time to get the blankets out and cuddle and watch tv. LOL The dogs say - ALL RIGHT!
