Down to 4

We are now down to 4 and tomorrow 3. 

How did this happen so fast? As you can see Nicky was giving him kisses ever so gently. 

Videos are already up. 

It is Nathan's day off but he still found the time to get puppy love. That's is critical, imho. 

You will have Chai to follow till the next set of pups. 

Full Day as 4

I need to take the pups upstairs again. It is Dennis' day off so it's on me to figure out time. They are playing quite quietly for the most part. They so enjoy their play sessions.

Videos will go up as I find the time.

Only 1 boy remains and 3 gals. Soon, we will be down to 1. 

It's going to be a fun experience with first that you will experience with your little one - us too!

Kirby's New Family

Here is the play and family gallery.

This is Kirby's new family. He is going to live with Teddy who was the rescue we took in. Teddy did quite well with all the munchkins herding him. 

Lots of changes for these little ones. 

The pups are now feeling the changes. Another one does not go until Friday and then one will remain on Sunday. Chai as we are calling her will have an adjustment too.

Kirby's Last Bath

So, Nathan bathed him. I took the photos. Nathan spent way too much time stating I should be doing this. I said it was my day off. He said that doesn't matter. Tell me how you really feel... but I persisted and he did do him.

Meet Talemaker's Kirby's Dream Land - Call name Kirby. Kirby is going home to be Teddy's best pal. 

How did he do in the bathing process? Not a single issue so what did Nathan have to complain about. So laughing. Glad he finally gave a puppy a bath as now he knows he can do it. Just in case I kick the bucket, he needs to be able to do this.

I can't believe we will be down to 4 tomorrow. No one goes home on Wednesday and that is Dennis day off. Thursday no change and that is Nathan's day off. Then the rest go on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I am counting on the reality that I will be washing the rest. 

2 Departures Today

Here is the gallery of the afternoon play.

This family has a long drive to London but they are not the only ones. One pup will be making its way to the Ottawa area.

Just wait - these 2 will be best buds. Can't wait to hear when it occurs.

Ruby's New Family

I think Nathan needs to pay attention with taking photos directly into the light. LOL We will fix later. Today, I do not have time - apologies.

I hope Ruby fared well. We miss her already.

Woodruff has a long drive to London. He departs starting at 3.

Last Baths Before Home

Meet Talemaker's Ultimate Gem - call name Ruby. She is the 1st to depart tomorrow. She was excellent in the bath. I had no issues with her at all. Dennis helped me with photos. I am so busy today, so I apologize for the lateness. I am far from done but needed the blogs done.

Meet Talemaker's Sweet Woodruff - call name Woody or Woodruff. He is the 2nd to depart tomorrow. How was he in the bath and drying? He was a star. No complaints or fussing from either.

I am trying to wrap my head around the reality is that tomorrow night we will just be 5.

Play in Open Space

Here is the gallery.

We started opening up the rooms so they can run from one to the other and they still appear to be hitting the pads for the most part. Sometimes you see one halfway on and off but they are doing really well.

I am going to do short blogs as I simply have way too much to do to get ready for pups departing. As it was Nathan's day off, I was upstairs with the pups twice thus far. The 2nd time I just played instead of videos and photos. After all they start departing in a couple of days and truly want my time with them without getting preoccupied with a phone and camera.

The Journey Begins

The pups had a full day and about 8pm, I will take them upstairs for the 3rd time. Yes, it's me. I am making headway on getting the paperwork and bags ready for the pups departing in 3 days. I am hoping the 1st 2 get done by tomorrow so I can start in on the rest. 

We did go out and buy treats, food, toys - I had some things on hand such as a stuffie, blanket and had to order tote bags. I need to put designs on things. 

I am also the cleanup person tonight with everything. Now that is scary but until then, I will have fun with the pups. 

They are growing up and are well wonderful pups. 

The last one goes home on the 5th. So from Sunday till the 5th, pups will be departing here and there. 

The day before departure they get baths, photos. So much excitement for the new families!

1st 2

Here is the gallery.

The 1st two pups depart on Sunday. I am hardly ready but did get their paperwork done today. Nathan tomorrow goes to buy the shampoo, the toys, poo bags, treats and the food. I have to create the tote bags, sherpa bag name tag, stuffed animal, blanket - my mind is blank. Is there anything else I need to print? I need to make a list.

Then the next 1 doesn't go till Tuesday. 

It will be a very busy time. Make sure you bring a carrier bag - sherpa or sherpa like. If you buy one from Amazon, it will collapse on them. Just be aware. 

They can sleep on your bed in one or on the floor or in an xpen with a pad and toys in it. It's up to you but They must be in your room at night or they will cry. Teething toys are good and any toy that makes them think and get busy.
