1 Day Old

Here is the gallery.

Nothing has changed. Still lively. Everyone lost weight but this happens at times. I am stressed as it is a lot to be responsible for the life of pups but we are hopeful this will turn around. Many pups lose in the 1st 48 hours. I am supplementing the little one but obviously not enough and she doesn't appreciate the feedings bit I am going to go to 2.5 vs 2. We shall see how that goes. If the others continue to lose after 48 hours, I may have to supplement all 6. Oh boy...

Vet feels they are early and that is the issue. We shall see how that unfolds.

All are still lively and that is a great sign.

Distracted

Last puppy of Sage's is not eating. So, I may have to supplement her. This means I will have to focus a great deal on the puppy. I am awaiting a response from my vet. What that means to everything else on my plate, I don't know. We shall see as I go.

Hours Old

Looks like we have sables and a brown and white and dark brown.

Pups Are Here

A bit of excitement. Not a single noise. I woke up to my closet opened and Sage having 2 pups cleaned and feeding. Cinnamon was guarding her. We await the others.

Have no idea who was 1st but this one is a girl. She weighs 60z 172g. She has 4 cream feet, belly, strip on neck. She was born a bit before 7am

This one is a boy. We are going to call him 2nd. Unless Sage or Cinnamon can speak to me, we will never know. This is the 1st time this ever happened and thought I was safe per the vet. He weighs 6-3/8oz 183g He has a blaze.

Third is a girl born at 821am. She is a brown sable - no other distinguishing markings. She weighs 5-6/8oz 165g

This is Sage's 4th. He was born at 858am. He seems to be dark brown. He weighs 5-7/8oz 167g

This is a boy - lighter than the 4th. He is the 5th born at 916am. He weighs 6-3/8oz 182g

The 6th one is a girl. She was born at 1013am. She weighs 5-5/8oz 159g

This is the last one. I now need to clean Sage, then do Fudge so he can depart. Nathan will be staying in here. I have all the photos up but the videos - a few will make it up when I finish Fudge.

What's a mom to be do when you are in waiting? Get comfortable and relax as the work will come.

Sage Xrays: 6 Pups: Due in a Week?

Sage should have just arrived at the vets now. We await number, timing and the Xray shot. Stay Tuned.

Vet says 6 pups and she thinks she has another 6 days to go. We shall see.

Xrays Tomorrow

Despite posting a belly shot photo, I did shave her tummy so she is ready. Tomorrow xrays. It won't be till afternoon till xrays are up and we figure out how many. She is due anytime, I believe.

Belly and Dolly

I have yet to shave her belly. No time but will try to get to it before the vets on Saturday.

She's so excited about puppies that she is carrying her dolly around. It is way cute!!

Sage's New Area

Everything will get sterilized and moved over to Sage's area from Nami's when the time comes. Her belly is starting to really grow. I still have to remove designs and create one for Sage. I have time.

XRAY Date

It is slated for late afternoon on November 13th.
