New Digs

I moved the Jeannie pups into the xpen next to the Adele pups. I didn't open it up as I am having them adjust to the Adele pups being right there. Then I will start opening up the area here and there.

Here is the gallery.

I didn't take photos or video of their play sessions today as tonight we need some downtime. I sorely need to watch tv and snuggle with the dogs. Dennis will do another play session after we do dinner for the dogs and Nathan will run out to Loblaws last minute as he does not have anymore ground meat for the dogs. lol

How did the pups do? Well they were confused and so were the Adele pups but they soon adapted. I think Jeannie finally relaxed and have been going in and out to feed them.

The pusp are growing up!!

Be sure to check out the videos.

7 Week Visit

Nathan is trashed (I think I am beyond trashed) and not everyone has sent him mail so please do so. We want to let you know what pup is yours. Even if you told us before, send us a new mail in case your preferences have changed.

We also need a date for taking your pup home. Someone mentioned the 4th or does it have to be the 5th on. When its only 1 day, we can work around what works for you.

Here is today's gallery of the visit with both litters.

I hope everyone had a good time and enjoyed the pups as much as I do.

Be sure to check out the videos. The visit is in a part 1 and part 2 separate file.

Vet Visit

Pups are all in great health. It's interesting to see their weights.  I went and checked the Raven litter to compare and they are actually the same size and this one is heavier than the litter with Raven at 8 weeks. So they are on the right growth curve for this line.

This gal weighs 2lbs 14 oz and the tri weighs 2lbs 8 oz.

Check out the gallery.

Each line has different weight curves. I will explain about it more in Adele's blog.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Interesting these pups are slightly sore. (new injector - sigh for microchip - a bit larger) and 2 of Adele's is also sore - so far. I am hoping by the visit tomorrow that goes. They are still playing and there is no reaction except at the injection site.

By the way the last 2 days the 2 litters have been playing well together. During the day, after the visit we are going to put them together all day if it goes well and we may be able to get both litters upstairs at night then. Progress! The Jeannie pups are growing up, as expected.

No accidents from this crew, no car sickness and no crying!

Baths Today

No gallery - no photos - see Adele blogs to know why.

Be sure to check out the videos as I took them of this duo as I was alone doing them. No photos but more videos than Adele pups had.

How did they do? Actually better than the Adele pups this time. They thought the bubbles was fun. The dryers was fine. Good one, little ones!

Tomorrow the vets!

Mommy Time the Best

The Jeannie pups LOVE playing with Jeannie but they light up when nathan comes. Sure they get me a couple of times a day and then he walks in and they light up. They take me for granted.

Here is today's gallery.

Blogs are short but watch the videos. They are fun ones.

6 and a Half Weeks Old

I wonder if Raven realizes these pups are related. She sure treats them extra special or maybe she is attracted to puppies similar to her own personality - playful but not as boisterous.

I wonder as I am watching relationships.

Here is today's gallery.

In-between grooming I have had the Jeannie pups upstairs and Dennis took the Adele pups upstairs twice and now he is upstairs for third time. Jeannie's will get their third time when Dennis is cleaning out the pen.

Jeannie may be coming to bed with me. I am going to discuss it with Dennis. Stay tuned.

We had some fun videos especially one where they are playing with each other though the sherpa bag. They are so funny.

Play, Play, Play With Mom

Oh Jeannie sure knows how to have fun with her pups. She is busy teaching and helping them perfect their skills.

See the gallery.

The vet called to ask if we could change the appointment for the Jeannie pups till after the New Year. That would put them at 9 weeks for their first shot. We decided it was best to bring them at the same time as the Adele pups as they are well over 2lb. They do not like to vaccinate when they are under 2lbs.

So, we will have 7 pups heading to the vets this week. Oh my! This will mean the Jeannie pups will have their next shot either when they go home or the week after. This works out better for these pups as they will have had their 2nd shot soon after departing giving them protection soon after they head home. As you can get the shots 3 weeks apart, the same window can be done for the Adele pups. If we were to wait till 9 weeks it would mean later for classes, socializing etc.

So, the pups continue to have fun in the front room. Tonight they had their deworming. They will have their last one before they go home. Their bodies seem to be handling the deworming. We do this as a preventative.

Pups get to run around every night after Dennis does the water dishes. He takes them out to play when he cleans up the pens. They have a blast.

Jeannie is so amazing in her helping them be all they are meant to be!

Be sure to check out the videos.

6 Weeks 1 Day Old

The pups are going to be entirely different dogs to the new families. The 5 to 8 week is a huge jump and these will be 7 weeks when they have their visit.

I had them in the front livingroom which none of the pups have been in. They explored, played and enjoyed.

Check out the gallery.

Dennis had the Adele pups upstairs. Adele's pups have not been in this room. It attaches to the TV room with French doors and a couch across the entrance to separate the rooms. So they had all the dogs peering in at them and Cinnamon jumping in to join them. They didn't blink an eye and they loved exploring! They played, they looked around and literally had a blast.

Be sure to check out the videos.

The pups are growing up. Dennis has them walking around all over each night when he cleans the xpen areas.

Oh and waggy tails - oh my such happy waggy tails indeed!

6 Weeks Old

The pups played all together today. See the gallery in the Adele blog. They did well. They have just started truly playing up on their back legs. It is so funny. They are now eating mousse well but are still not fans of Fromms yet.

They had their nails cut today. See the video.

They have entered that fun, delicious stage.

See the videos.

5 Weeks 6 Days Old

I can't believe that they will be 6 weeks old tomorrow. They are really changing. They now let us know they want attention but they do it in the most quiet way - tiny little noises - hey - I am here. It's rather nice. The tri gal today stood on her back feet for the longest time nit holding on to anything. Guess she is very agile.

Here is the gallery.

The pups are not quite 3 lb. I will try to get a very accurate weight tomorrow as I will have to take the other scale downstairs.

Their hair is starting to get long now just like Adele's pups did. They are running now at times. It is delightful to see the changes.

Be sure to check out the videos. I am still working on the hallway one - meaning I just loaded it into my computer and have to split out the Adele puppy portion and upload.
