The pups really enjoyed their time indoors and outdoors. Moms enjoyed the time with them. It was a fun day for the pups. they have no had snow experience twice so far. How many more snow days will we have?

The pups are lasting less than a full hour. I think the visits are enjoyable but also tiring for them. Their last one will be this afternoon at 3 and that visit will be on another blog. Then the work begins on what puppy will go with whom. Vet visit will occur this Thursday.
The pups had a great time and so did we. Although I so enjoy the one or two visits pre-covid days it allows us to get to know each of you better.
Exciting ti8mes coming.
Be sure to check out the videos. I am uploading them now.
Here is the link to the gallery. This is the last visit of the day till we start again tomorrow. Nathan naps inbetween and needs it. <sigh> The pups too. LOL
Everyone has been good about wearing masks. Dogs and pups have adjusted and listen for voices. It is good conditioning for them.
The pups were doing really well but as this was the 3rd visit they started fading. They did last for a bit but was hoping they would last longer as this family came from afar.
It was a fun one. Check out the gallery here.
The pups are pretty amazing considering they had 3 visits and with people they didn't know. They played. No fear. They socialized. All was good.
I think it was Nathan and I that was tired not the pups. Sure, they faded but they nap and will soon be up for a play session soon.
They get to do this 3 times tomorrow too!
Be sure to check out the videos. They are now all up.
This is Cinnamon's 1st born. She was amazingly agile in the bath. LOL She was a good girl. While I was drying her she would play and snuggle with me. She has a way of making you feel the world is okay!
This is Cinnamon's black and white gal. She is the most even keel dog. She has a wonderful personality and I bet this one will be a swimmer. You get to see how they interact with the water and she brought smiles.
This is short line gal. That is what I nicknamed her as she looks a lot like long line gal. She really thought this was a spa experience. A gal after my own heart. Love her nature. Where's my massage?
This is the littlest boy who is still small but no longer little. He is adorable and has a grand personality. There is not a shabby one in any of the litters. Some like Spirits is highly spirited. Others laidback and others midstream. He is a midstream boy who is highly loving!
This is long line gal. When looking at these photos you can see the difference between long line and short line but as they are running and playing, it's tough. They also have very similar personalities. She has a very pretty face imho. I so love her!
This is the brindle boy and I will tell you he wasn't crazy about the experience. You can see it on his face. He has such a face that he wears his emotions on them. No wondering what he is thinking. He is highly lovable and wasn't bad about the bath but if he had his choice play or hugs would be much better! His colouring is going to be might interesting as an adult.
I couldn't find her dry photos but they must be there. This gallery was so messed up as we used 2 cameras and the numbers were off so none was in order. This is a gal that is small and not talked about as much as she should be as she is a little star. She truly is!
I spent over 4 hours between washing, photos, drying, pads, clip around bum etc. I was truly toast by the end. Nathan was still resting today so he can be all he can be tomorrow.
Our son and daughter-in-law in Las Vegas sent Chinese to us for dinner. It was so nice. They knew I was doing pups, blogs and Nathan had to rest. It was Nathan's faves that were ordered. Not mine. LOL But I didn't have to cook. Our local Chinese place has gone through so many owners and each time, imho it has reduced its quality but even with that said - it was ever so welcomed. It made what I have on my plate much easier so deeply appreciated. It may be a gin and tonic night.
Pups are now playing like crazy upstairs. They feel wonderful! I am told by Dennis I need to declutter the kitchen from Nathan's stuff. If I must - tomorrow then Nathan will wonder where all his stuff has gone to. Maybe he will be too focused on pups and visitors to notice. shhh it's our secret. Yeah I am laughing!
Videos are coming as soon as I place this out in public, uploads will begin.
Nathan came down to eat and had to have his puppy time.
They really enjoyed the kitchen.
Tomorrow baths for all 12 to get ready for visits starting on Friday. Lots of work but oh they are going to feel and smell delish!
It seems that Stone was up playing with the pups. How nice is that. Pups will be going up momentarily. I will try to get more than just the 1 video today. I will so try.
Pups are wonderful. baths this week and visits this week - way busy times.
Cinnamon truly feels the need to feed all comers. Soon they will wean and then what will Cinnamon do? I know - teach them. What is interesting is usually by now the pups chase the moms and descend on them like locusts but not this crew. If mom says no by growling - it's not a mean growl - it's a no they should listen. What's amazing is usually at this stage they do NOT listen. All they care about is the milk and not mom saying no. this crew seems to get it - at least now.
Be sure to check out the videos.
Teeth are almost all the way in. I am wearing slippers now and correcting. they want to chew on EVERYTHING including my ouch feet. They will learn.
This is the Cinnamon gal and she is playful, loving but quieter than some of her siblings.
I find that suddenly the pups want to come out more than 4 times day. LOL They will fuss as they are doing now as I am typing but we ignore and pay attention when they are quiet. They come out at 8pm. Blogs need to be done 1st. If they were fussing for a reason that demanded attention, then we would take them up, figure out what their needs are and rectify it. They are great puppies. They hardly ever fuss. Tonight is the night and as Dennis says, you can't reward behavior that you do not desire. Besides, they come out in 25 minutes. :-)
These are good puppies.
What an elegant beauty this one is. Dennis looked at her face and said wow is her face beautiful. It is one of the few times he has noticed beauty. It is usually about ability only.
I am amazed at how they climb, jump and figure out how to get out of things they may not realize they were doing. You can see their minds working. What an interesting crew.
It doesn't matter if Spirit's gal is a week older, they still treat her as if she is their age. LOL
Cinnamon has quite the variety of pups. They are quite agile and playful. We have some real snugglers here.
I am working on the videos. Not many today but hopefully you will enjoy!
The pups obviously have perfected their skills and they continue to do so daily. From the smallest to the largest, they have learned to climb, depth perception and how to interact and redirect when other pups say - no that's too rough. Even Sage's little one has learned that last one well so she can effectively communicate that you are too rough. What is good about this crew is they listen.
They are eating dry kibble now and Starter mousse but mostly dry kibble and are doing well with it.
Be sure to check out the videos. I am midstream in uploading - trying to multi-task.
I have to say the pups can be animated and it is wonderful how they embrace your fun and make it their fun.
We had the pups upstairs a couple of times today and they had a blast.
She is so pretty and such a midstream level of activity. She plays - she watches and she loves toys. You can often find her pulling her mom's ears.
This crew is mighty interesting. They seem to have the fun of Cinnamon.
Pups are making the leap to eating more food except they don't like the softened kibble. Most have their teeth in so when they all have them in we will try with solid kibble. For now they are eating the mousse and drinking water.
They truly have fun now attempting to climb, run, tackle and do all sorts of things.
I have 2 dogs to groom shortly so I will be uploading videos as I groom. That means putting my ipad on teh grooming table so it gets hair on it and just uploading and uploading as I dry and comb.
Cinnamon has truly outstanding pups.
Cinnamon gets steak, cheese, baked chicken, bacon, breakfast sausage on and on and she still wants the puppy food. Got to love it.
Be sure to check out the videos.
Pups had a lot of fun today! They played upstairs, downstairs and well just plain had fun. They are doing really well with upstairs at night. The pups are growing up and perfecting their skills. I am sure you can tell in the videos.
Pups went upstairs last night without their moms. The pups did fine. They certainly didn't sleep all night but they didn't whine or cry. I watched them way too much and had very little sleep quite literally.
How did the moms do? Cinnamon dug into the bed and went ahhhh I know this routine - good to be back and frantic to feed as soon as its morn. She was a star. Sage and Spirit - oh my gad. Spirit was the worse of the 2 crying all night long for her baby. I even had Dennis come and get them to show them their babies at 3amish. Seriously but they continued to seranade me all night. I sent Nathan to the guestroom so he could get sleep. He was lucky as he didn't hear a thing. I am tired. I hope tonight is a better one as they will know the drill, so to speak. I may send Nathan back to the guestroom so he can get sleep but I best get sleep tonight or I am toast tomorrow!
Stay tuned!
There are some dogs that love comfort. They prefer the bed over the floor any day.
All the dogs are tearing and teething. This passes when the teeth come in. Some have a few teeth and some have a mouth full. They are all chewing on everything as their mouths are sore from the eruptions.
Tonight the pups are heading upstairs without the moms. They will have water and food. They will head up at 10pm and Dennis and I stay up with them till 11. I will take videos and photos that you will see tomorrow. I will head to bed at 11 to 1130 and Dennis will go see if there are any need for cleanups, new food etc after he is done cleaning around midnight. Yes, it takes that long.
The 3rd xpen is down. The transition to being a group of 12 was easy even with a small gal. It all worked out.
As Cinnamon's were only used to Spirit's pup visiting them, they had the most adjustment to the addition of 5. So, we merged them last. A couple fussed but not for long. They all settled in for a long nap. Then they woke up. Nathan and I fed them between my groomings and they started to truly intereact with each other. By late morning, it was as if they were always together.
Be sure to check out the videos.
I call this a huge success. We need to take the xpen down but we are all tired here so it may wait for a day or two. This is Cinnamon's area she used. This will give the moms and us more room.
I figure by early next week they will be going upstairs and sleeping without moms for the night. This is the time I hardly sleep as moms and I watch them on the ipad as we have a camera plus we can hear them via the ipad or across the hall. It is called parenting baby syndrome. You hear EVERYTHING. :-)
They are geting older.
Here are 2 Cinnamon pups. They look very similar from a distance. One has a long line on her belly and one a short one. Now I see the feet differ. If you really look, one has a briader face than the other but when they are busy, it is hard to see.
The pups did go upstairs today and moms were really excited about that. I guess without a strange dog they were really enjoying. I am glad.
Check out the videos. The pups had fun.
Tomorrow we re going to put all 3 litters together. It will be interesting. No 3 xpens - only 2 made into 1.
