Soda's New Family

Here are the family photos.

Well, that is it. How did that happen. Soda is the last to depart. These pups were magical, imho.

We just took the xpen down and sterilized the floors. I could have sat on the recliner and did it tomorrow but it is important for Cinnamon and this motion is a clear indicator that they have clearly departed.

I hope and pray that we see them again. We get quite attached.

You will see in the gallery the loving mom Cinnamon is. She snuggled with Soda off and on throughout.

Newt's New Family

Extra Blog Today

Had Newt and Soda outside in the arms and Daddy Stone and Momma Cinnamon. They had a memorable moment. Me too!

Soda's Last Bath

How did Soda do? She also wanted to play with her sibling but they are cuddled up sleeping now. 

Think I am tired too as I could have taken better photos. Sorry. It's been a long few days as I also had combouts and full grooms to do for boarders and departures. If only I was like Nathan - nap and no grooming to do. LOL

Soda is the last to go tomorrow. Then we are done and Rain and Hope will be the pups in the house. Xpen will come down. Sometime couch will be moved back in and I will miss them till they visit. That is how it works.

Newt's Last Bath

I just noticed he has a white mustache. How cute is that!! How was he for the bath? He wanted to get it over to play. He was good - just could tell he wanted to play with his sister.

Interesting enough Momma Cinnamon is feeling the departures. I think the pups are too. I think its hard being the last 2. They ate all the meal so not too stressed - just confused. They also just fell asleep and didn't have much sleep the entire day so there is that. 

He is the 1st to depart tomorrow. 

Harper's New Family

Well, Ms Harper has departed. We are down to just Newt and Soda. It was a quiet play session as it was only 3 and they were tired with no nap after the 1st departure.

Two will be getting their last bath so stay tuned.

Pups are - well pups and the moments you will see in photos of Cinnamon snuggling with them is endearing.

Daisy has a long drive so hopefully she will sleep. I suspect the kids will be anxious to play with Daisy when she gets home.

3rd Blog Today: Harper's Last Bath

Here are her bath photos.

Harper had a knot on her bum area so she was not happy with me pulling it apart. But she survived and the rest was smooth sailing. She so reminds me of a gal that has an opinion but then melts into you when she realizes no means no. She is also adorable. Just because she is you can't let her get her own way. LOL

She is the 2nd to go home tomorrow and then there will be 2. I am trying to wrap my head around that.

Daisy's Last Bath Before Departure

Daisy was a dream in the bath, photos and blow drying. Pads - no problem. She was the most chill pup and she has shiny black hair. I believe she is going to a 1st time dog person so she is perfect.

She is the 1st to depart tomorrow and I believe she also has a long car ride. She should be fine!

Neesi's New Family

Neesi is the only one departing today. Therefore there will only be the baths blogs done today and this one for Neesi. She has a long way to go home - all the way to Ottawa. We hope her car ride went well. So far, other than a little whimpering with where the hey am I going, they have been fine. 

I can't believe we are down to 4 now. Come Monday they will all have departed.

3 Updates Today: Neesi - Last Bath

Here are the bath photos.

Neesi departs tomorrow for an earlier than usual time as they have to travel home to Ottawa. 

How did she do? She thinks she is regal. LOL It is hard to explain but she stood as if she was self important. I laughed and I appreciate her bringing me to a laugh.

This crew of 5 just ate and are about to head upstairs. Tomorrow they will be down to 4. By Monday afternoon they will all be in their new home creating a wonderful journey with their new families.

Sorry, I am so late getting this up but we had departures and I have groomings. I still have 1 to do. 

Axel seems to like Bonham - his new brother. We will see how and when he fully wins him over.

Videos will go up after I finish the blogs. I was sent a photo of the human Daddy napping with Axel. Made my heart swell.

Last Baths and Last Full Day as 7

Koda's last bath photos.

Koda did really well in the bath including the blow dry and photos. Dennis and I did them today. Nathan is napping and will need to do nails on both when he wakes up. Nathan used to do this with me. He did come upstairs and play with the pups today and I will have that on the videos.

They had a huge play session upstairs.

Axel's Last Bath

Axel did really well with the bath and blow dry but he really wanted to go back to play. I 'get' that. Axel is the afternoon going home where Koda is the morning. Updates may be later in the day. We shall see how it goes.

I can't believe this going home has started. Tomorrow down to 5. 

I do hope these puppies bring you great joy as they did us. They are truly oustanding pups. Cinnamon has been a magnificent mom. She truly is through and through. She is going to miss them so I hope some can visit her and maybe in the summer they can swim together. We shall see.

Last 2 Full Days

It is such a lovely day and I wish I could take them outside but I do not want any issues with bowels etc so inside they will remain and you get to have that 1st adventure experience - the start of many 1sts.

Pups have Malla, Coco, Hazel, Rain and Hope to play with. They have been having a blast. Pups are about to go out again but no videos or photos this play session. 

They played and played and played and despite this they are raring to go again.

Soon they will be on their own unique journeys. We hope to hear from you and applaud all their milestones.

Warm weather is coming and it is the perfect weather to welcome your little ones. I hope it stays this warm but I figure we will have snow before mother nature is done and you can have that 1st with them as well.

Other than baths, I am ready with all their stuff now. 2 baths occur tomorrow for Friday departures.

Malla Joins the Cinnamon Crew

Malla a Nami pup is visiting and you will see how much fun she is having with the Cinnamon pups. She was the smallest pup of Nami's. 

They had a ton of fun today with Malla, Rain and Hope. To be clear - they had a blast. It is great to see for all the pups.

They were busy playing with the bottle toy today. There were no treats in it but they had a ton of fun without.

I had no accidents today upstairs. Bravo, little ones. in 2 days I have to wash and do some magic on Axel and Koda as they are the 1st to depart. The last 2 to depart are Newt and Soda on the 18th. So, we will have many more days of photos and fun.

It is going to be a very busy week but a fun one. I am going to miss this crew - indeed!

Heading Into the Home Stretch

Three more days and the baths begin. I do whomever is departing the night before. Sunday will be a miracle day as I have 2 pups departing and 7 dogs to groom. I think come Tuesday you may be scraping me off a chair. LOL That's okay as I need busy, I suppose as pups are departing. On Wednesday I take my 1st day off in months and months. It has been so long, I can't remember. It has indeed been 6 months. 

It is hard to believe that baths for the pups begin on Thursday - 3 days away. 4 days 2 depart. Wow...

Pups insisted on feeding from mom despite me saying NO Cinnamon. They also started a game of tearing a pad. I am breaking them of that habit. It's the last week lesson week. LOL

Mother's Love

Cinnamon is truly an outstanding mom. She will cry to go in to the xpen so she can snuggle with the pups. She snuggles with them upstairs too. The pups love to surround her and get that closeness. It is wonderful to watch. Who knew that an oops litter would bring such an outstanding crew and they are!

It is hard to believe that this is their last week as 7. Come Friday they will be down to 5 with Koda and Axel departing 1st. On Thursday these 2 will get their last bath. I am almost ready. I have been working long days into the night to be ready. 

The pups run, play and simply are fun, fun. fun.

They played so hard today that 3 hours later they are still sleeping. The more they play, the more they sleep. That is the key!

Watching to Chase

In it is Bonham and Axel - his new brother.

We are doing short blogs today. It dawned on me that although I have 5 days to have everything completed for pups, I still have a ways to go. Add in their baths and other grooms etc, I need to do some each day. So, that means less time for blogs etc. Sorry!

Pups are out in the hall with Dennis while Nathan naps. Me, I am attempting to blog. Pups are having fun but as usual, all play sessions after the one I do in the morning is a no photo or gallery experience so we can spend time with them.

I also have a thing going on with our daughter who lives in Portland, Oregon. She is breaking up with her boyfriend of 9 years of living together and he is not letting her take her clothes, her dog that is just in her name and on and on. It has become very nasty so I have asked our oldest daughter to get involved so I can get something done. Not passing the buck - just need to be ready for pups departing. So.... if I sound like a biach at times, forgive me. It is really weighing on me especially in the direction it is going. 

I should take out the scale to weigh pups. The operative word is should. We shall see if I find the time. Otherwise their 1st vet visit with you, you can let me know, please.

First vet visit is March 22nd to March 29th so book your appointments for then now.

A Week Before Departures Begin

I have a lot of work to get done. Yesterday Nathan picked up out things that we ordered such as food, shampoo/conditioner, grooming spray etc. We are short with a few items so Nathan needs to get the rest on Thursday and I will make a list so the last of the bags can be made the day be fore they start to depart. Oh my. Today. I need to do all the 2nd tote bags. Tomorrow or the next day the id collar bones. You will have to buy a lead (leash). If desired,  you can tell me what colour you desire. That may complicate things but we shall see. Let's do it this way. I have 4 pinks, 2 purple, 2 blacks, 2 pale blue. Or you can buy a leash after you see them. That may make sense. Males will have to get black and blue. Gals pink or purple. Relize they will grow out of them and you will have to buy your own set.

Pups played quite a bit. Due to Hazel figuring out how to push the gate away to go downstairs, I placed a blanket at the opening. She was beside herself and you will see it in the videos. It was a process but it had to be done. She was teaching the Cinnamon crew how to escape to head downstairs. No - they are too young.

This is the start of March break. I still have combouts and grooming plus the main blog and puppy stuff to do. Nathan is napping and so are the Cinnamon pups. I need to start doing Tote bags (2nd one) and then start figuring out what we are missing.
