Jeannie's Day

Click on Photo for Larger ViewJeannie seems to like the show ring but when you have to go you have to go and she did in the ring. Nathan cleaned up promptly. Two dogs did not show again and 1 that she beat yesterday was put on a professional handler to increase her odds, I suppose. Jeannie beat them and she got 2 points and is now going to puppy. So she now has 3 points. 7 to go. Best part is all the compliments Nathan is getting about her.

Well Jeannie just won best puppy in group so she beat all the pups in the entire toy group. It means she has to hang around till the end of the day to compete for best puppy in show. If a puppy wins group in their selective group there is no competition so you hang out for nothing. I know complicated but Jeannie did really well!

She's a funny gal. She prefers to sleep with me on my side at night but when Daddy puts that suit on the door she says what about me!

Val said I did a good job on her hair. hahahaha

Well done Nathan,Darlah and Jeannie.
I love that little girl. She has the best coat I have
ever seen on a Havanese.

WOW! You're al doing so well.

Darlah, Jeannie's hair does have a lovely sheen to it. Looks like you found your magic formula.

Debi: She has a natural sheen. I actually stripped some of the oil out yesterday. Last night I simply washed her with a light shampoo and a cream rinse vs. a conditioner. She has a Treasure type of coat just thicker.

Does that make it any easier to care for?
What type of hair do you think Laci has now that you've seen her as an adult?
Speaking of shampoos/conditioners I have several that I supply my groomer w/ and she's also used her own which is an oatmeal type. We still use the Oats & Aloe that you use and Doug (K9) recommended I use Brightening Shampoo and Strengthening Conditioner - to see which best suits Laci's coat type. I also have a clarifying shampoo to be used no more than every 5 shampoos, if needed. I can't say I know which is best. She just always seems the same to me. We had a static problem in the past but that went away and never returned.

Val's right. She looks beautiful.

Donna: Hope you are doing well. Zoe is wonderful playing with all. She especially loves Adele. Hope you are enjoying your holiday. Jeannie was a mess today but Zoe managed to be a lady tip toeing around to stay relatively clean and mostly dry.
