Jeannie's Breeder From Germany Plus Gallery

Sandy Obrist came over for a visit. We acquired Jeannie from Sandy 2.5 years ago due to her exquisite lines. Jeannie was so excited to see her it was unreal. She has not seen her since she was 10 weeks old. She kept smiling, running around. She kept showing off her pups. It says a lot about Sandy. Our pups get excited to see us even after a long gap. It seems they do about her too. Nice!

We are now getting ready for Max to depart. I have to tell you its already been a long day and I have a ton of baths to do this weekend too. May wait and start tomorrow after Patches departs. Today I am exhausted. Tomorrow night Abby goes to bed with us. We will update you on Abby each day.

Here's  a gallery of the visit plus.

I think it's great that Jeannie's breeder came for a visit - really shows what a great breeder she is. So glad Jeannie was able to show off her pups before they go to their forever homes. I'm missing them already!

Darlah - How is Jeannie going to be after her pups leave? Does she understand what is happening? At least Abby will be there for another week. Can't wait to see how she makes out sleeping on the bed. What an adventure that will be!

Val: Yes, she did and that made my heart skip a beat!

Liz: We make sure they see them go. They sometimes look for them and if they don't see them they actually get frantic but they get a lot of extra special attention so they do adjust. She will have Abby and then she will have Roxie's pups to play with. We will see how it plays out, As this is her first litter, we don't know exactly as each are unique. The putting the pups without mom at night starting at 5 plus weeks is the start of allowing this transition for pup and mom. We rather miss them too and no other pup replaces the one that left. They are each special truly!

Wow, this is amazing to see her come and connect with Jeannie and her pups.
Is she taking one back with her, did I miss something?

TakeMaker is the best, and she must be so impressed.

So nice that Sandy got to see Jeannie and meet her three pups. Very special for all.

No, we are not sending a pup to Germany. :-) She was here to visit HER mom and came to visit us while she was here.
