The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. There is no picnic in 2020 due to COVID but hopefully in 2021. Stay Tuned!

It is so much fun to watch the hair grow in. How long did it take to get the elastic out? Katie at 8 years still gets off the grooming table and rubs her head in the carpet trying to get it out. Some of them snap right away and we have to do it again. (I think she is looking for an extra treat.)
Marilyne: I have found if you have the right rubber bands that adhere to the hair but don't damage and you do it not too close to the head, they are more apt to keep it in. Of course there are always exceptions. I have Shoshi's head hair growing out and its comical now as its just over her eyes but not long enough to put back. Oh that inbetween stage is so much fun - not!
Oh my goodness, what an adorable photo!
Patches scratched at her head for a couple of minutes then forgot about it. Because her hair is still quite short, I took it out after a while in case it was hurting her because I had to put it quite close to her head! Just a trial run for when her hair is longer.
She is adorable
OMG - she looks adorable.... what do you do for male puppies.... i am going to try the clear mascara and see if that works...
