12 and a Half Days Old

We have a slew of videos for you to watch. I hope it gives you some moments to treasure.

The boy seems to have bigger slits today and the more white gal is not far behind. She is now 1lb. She was lagging behind the other 2.

Pups ate every 1.5 hours last night. I am exhausted. Jeannie had an upset tummy and refused to hardly eat and that affects milk production. I managed to get starter mousse into her, formula, cheese for calcium and now that its daylight the pups are making it almost 2 hours.

Here are some videos - lots for you to enjoy.

Jeannie had a bath just before she had pups. I will try to get her another between feedings next week. She is losing hair which is normal so I find it on the blankets after or during feeding etc. This too shall pass as her body adjusts.

She remains an amazing mom deeply in love with the pups and motherhood. When a gal has pups she gets placed in the pack as the queen of the crew. She is relishing that.

Oh Darlah, what wonderful videos, I love, love, love them. Thanks so much for letting us experience this part of a dog's life (both Mom and baby). I love especially the pups trying to walk, just beautiful! My eyes are all welled up. Thanks again.

I watched them all and they are so sweet. It is very nice for us to be able to watch them grow in their day to day environment, during feeding, sleeping, cleaning, playing. Beautiful and precious. Jeannie deserves to be the queen of the pack!

They are so precious and the fun is just about to begin when they are mobile. It will happen soon. You just wait! Eyes open first.
