Communal and Grass

The puppies seem to enjoy the bigger communal bowl as they don't feel so crowded sharing. Jeannie is weaning them as they have started putting bruises on her - not intentionally. It always happens. Momma corrects and they eventually get it. But the lure of the possible milk is too intoxicating. Eventually they do get it and Mom can play with them better without worrying about them trying to sneak a drink.

They always try to wean them about this time. By the time they go home they are weaned. Its a process for pup and for mom.

We were out in the grass today. We have now had them on the walkways, the deck, the grass. We have had them upstairs, outside of the xpen in my office, out in the hallway. We are exposing them to what we can.

Some found the leaves fascinating. They didn't eat them but rather carried them around.

And one found a stick and was delighted.

Now we are trying them on Denta-A-Roo sticks and they love them.

They are playing in my office as I type and having a blast.

The pups - well they are wonderful!
