Patches at Class

Patches is so observent and I have a sneaky suspicion that she's like Phantom. You need to be silly crazy to get her going as food doesn't excite her but next week I am going to bring a variety of stuff to try. She is making great progress.

Patches started jumping up on the chair and couch at 4 months, at 5 months, in fact today, she jumped onto the couch, then up onto the back of the couch and she lay down. Queen of her domain!

Hi Angela, what training classes are you doing with Patches? Max is yet to jump on the couch,, but does bark to be lifted for a cuddle....Kerry

The jumping has nothing to do with the classes Kerry. Be careful what you wish for. Patches just appears on your lap, sometimes at the most inappropriate times, eg. right on top of your keyboard lol. We have completed Puppy PreSchool (4 weeks) and are now in Family Dog (6 weeks). All with Who's Walking Who.

We have had pups (usually Wasabi pups) that have been found sitting on top of their crate in the morning at oh 8 weeks. We had one on a video that climbed the crate amd did a swan dive off of it. We won't tell you names on that one but human Momma knows who it is. Its fun to hear that Jeannie's pups are agile beings.

Truffie didn't jump up till he was a year and a half. He still asks to be picked up but can clearly jump up.

Patches is 'very agile'! We have 2 retaining wall planters across our backyard. I was telling Patches 'be careful' when she went near any of the edges. Then, one morning she just went for it and jumped off one and landed about 5 feet away from the wall, yikes!! Then she just kept on playing.
