First Kitchen Visit

Seeing on Sunday we have visitors (6 week visit) I figured it was time to allow them to explore the kitchen and they did amazing. One week in the scheme of things is so obvious at this age but then again Spice's got out a week earlier.

Staurday they will have a bath.

We have had 3 play sessions out of the xpen today. Pups are tearing a little. That will dry up. You see right now all 10 are teething. Soon the teeth will be through and it will dry up and I will clean up the area. This is normal. Teething is so much fun for them. They chew on everything. I need to get some new teethers for babies that I can freeze to soothe their mouth. Its obvious as they even try to gnaw on the crate. A couple already have teeth and hurt Jeannie feeding. She lets them know. They willl learn to be gentle if they want to eat. Although I can feel teeth coming in Spice's they are not fully out like a couple of Jeannies are.

I gave them ground up kibble today. They tasted it but wasn't very crazy about it but when hungry they will eat. Jeannie did feed them about 530am. Dennis is trying to get them to 7am so they can go upstairs. This should happen after the 6 week visit. We are taking longer with this process as we are trying to get the pups playing with each other but we may just be putting up 1 and then the other a week later. We will know when it is time.

Here's a video of their kitchen fun.

What a great video. Amazing to watch Jeannie play with her pups the way she does, and also herself playing with the green toy. It will be a great puppy visit this weekend. Can't wait to see the photos.

The six week visit is going to be a blast! Both humans and pups are going to have so much fun. The pups are so energetic and enjoyable to watch as they romp around the kitchen. And Jeannie is so loveable!

Yes, its the week that she attempts to play with them. They are of that age and now the fun will begin between mom and pups. Just a few days ago when she tried it they looked at her as if she was nuts.
