Picnic Photos & Details

The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. There is no picnic in 2020 due to COVID but hopefully in 2021. Stay Tuned!

Woofstock Is Back

Meet us at Woofstock. Dogs are welcomed. We meet at the restaurant across the street from Woodbine Park. Here is the location. Meet up happens on June 22, 2024 at 9:30 to 945am. Rain date is the next day. Look forward to seeing your havanese there and the humans too! Don't have your havanese yet? Well join us anyway!

Jeannie is doing well but is tired. I am too. Dennis is sleeping and will take over at 11ish. Hoping we play recovery but it will take a couple of days, I imagine. I am eating popcorn for dinner. hahahaha

Congratulations to Jeannie and the Talemaker folks. These 4 puppies are beautiful.
Hope the first night is not too stressful for Dennis as well as yo Darlah. You know you will not sleep soundly.

Thank for for sharing the videos! Very interesting to see the process of delivering puppies. Just wondering how come the umbilical cord needs to be clamped for a while and not cut right away.

You need to stop the blood flow. You delay the clamping for a minute or 2 and then clamp. If moms are left to their devices they would shred the cord with their teeth effectively creating the same result. If you simply cut they would lose blood and die.
