Drop and Roll: Videos Added

We were trying to catch this puppy rolling over for Sarah. He does it all the time but I keep missing catching it on camera. <sigh> Here's him on his back but not the rolling. Jeannie drops and rolls so you can rub her tummy. Sarah says, I can tell he's Jeannie's son!

Here is  gallery taken today. All 3 pups had a walk about though Nathan's foot is really bad so it's a short walk about. They seem curious. More hesitant when placed on the deck but still okay.

Yes and Mr. Blackie who is the most adventurous has brown of various shades bleeding through him all over. He's going to end up quite striking in the colour department.

Beautiful puppies. Belly rubs are clearly popular with this crew.

Patches does the 'drop and roll' all the time for belly rubs. At least now I know she came by it honestly.

Yes, it's a Jeannie thing. She does it for everyone. It seems its has a hereditary aspect as the pup would not have learned it from Jeannie, at this age. I find it mighty interesting.

Patches even does it when she is playing ball. She brings the ball back and just as she gets to you she throws herself down and rolls with ball in mouth. Heehee. As well, when I wake up she does a quick drop and roll on the bed so I can pat her tummy before we get up. I absolutely love her to pieces and I haven't even begun on Radar's endearments yet. Man oh man, they are fabulous dogs. We love them so very much.

Jeannie does the roll over whenever anyone comes to the door and she does it over and over if they think they have done it enough. :-) It's a riot. Just find a pup doing it at 3 weeks funny - actually earlier than that. It is interesting what they get from their mom and dads.
