Lounging Gal

Here's a few poses of Jeannie and her tummy.

She is like a stuffed chicken though. That tummy is hard and out to the sides. We will see what she weighs at the vets on Saturday just before the picnic.

Just a few photos of her over the past couple of years. She was always gentle with the pups. She played with them well and she always has had such a great personality.

Jeannie goes for her xray just before the picnic. I have yet to feel kicking and hoping I don't till next weekend. hahahaha Kicking means within 2 weeks. Is it too much to ask for 3?

Different View

Here is a photo of Jeannie's brother at the National.

Sables and Brindles dominate this line. Jeannie was the smallest out of her litter and her parents etc are larger. I am hoping with Phantom we brought up the size a bit from Jeannie. Usually you see the odd small one when you do this breeding to bring up size.

I still think Jeannie is the prettier one but JJ is handsome too in this photo.

Drop and Roll

Jeannie rolls for all so you can rub her tummy. It's so cute and funny!

Belly Shots

You can't see how big she really is but she seems to be growing sideways. When it gets closer to the time she will drop and you will see it more but you can feel how wide she has become.

Jeannie had a bath so I figured we would get a photo for you. I am hoping she holds out to her last due date vs. the first. This way Nathan will be back. In 9 days we will have an xray and that may be a tad bit more telling. She is due anywhere from 16 days to 23 days. The way her belly is shaped I am thinking the latter. We shall see.

Hunry, Hungry Hippo

Okay a tiny one at that but the tummy is getting round and she wants to eat, eat and eat. Can you blame her? Massages are a regular thing.

Jeannie Update

You can't really tell but Jeannie  really is round and seems to be carryin on her sides. She's a riot as anyone who comes to visit she rolls so they can rub her tummy. What a riot she is. 13 more days till xray. No kicking yet but clear discharge.

Jeannie and First Pregnancy

Jeannie's tummy is already getting round. She wants to eat, eat, eat and then she vomits. This is morning sickness. So you feed little bits at a time. They are hungry but the tummy usually gets upset at this stage. It's another telling sign that she is pregnant.

She's also stopped playing all that much. She wants to snuggle a lot and hang out at the pool. Who can blame her?

She was one of 7. It will be interesting to see how many she has. I hope not too many as she is small and that would mean they start out small or she gets bigger than a house.

I have shaved her tummy and will have to take a photo of her standing up as we usually do so you can see how she is growing.

Jeannie's Bro

This is Jeannie's brother, Jeromin. She has tris, sables throughout her line and Phantom has sables, chocolates so anything is possible.

Jeannie already has a round tummy. She is showing signs of being really hungry. One of the dogs have chewed off her top knot. Oh well it will grow and thankfully it didn't happen before she was finished her championship. I could have waited and finished it later but better to have it done, I suppose.

Jeannie goes in for an xray on the 9th just before the picnic. So we will have news that night on the blog or if you are at the picnic you will hear it first hand and see her tummy.

Jeannie is due around the 18th to the 24th and Nathan will be at the national specialty from the 11th till the 19th in East St Paul, Manitoba (outskirts of Winnipeg) so its just me - so Jeannie wait please. I was fretting as our vet is going away too but she should be around when she is due. Nathan is driving as we have to be economical. If we could fly he could be home the 17th. Oh well. He is the president of the national club and well neither date we had control over.

At least next year the national is in Toronto. :-)
