When is She Due?

Expected Due Date August 18 - August 23, 2014 Give or take a few days. On Friday I will start taking her temperatures twice a day. We shall see where that takes us. I will have to take her weight as she is getting really big. Pups are growing. They are also active inside as they usually are at this stage. Nathan arrives back late on the 18th so we are still hoping she holds out.

She is eating like crazy but she only want s the good stuff. Of course. The moms love it that they are catered too. Belly runs are now a regular thing - back rubs too! I remember what it feels like to be pregnant!

Nothing to Report

She is eating. She's excessively big but nothing else going on. She also is snuggling like crazy with me.

The Chase is On

Remember Panda chasing Jeannie? Such fun indeed! She was a little fry then. Jeannie is hungry and eating but having upset tummies. This happens near the end. So small tiny meals all day vs 3 times a day. Otherwise she is doing great. We start taking temperature readings on Friday. We shall see how that goes. We wait for a drop and then we know its within 24 hours.

She's Napping

She refused to eat tonight. She is eating 3 times a day and suddenly only steak will do. She's napping a lot today. That's usual when you get down to the last week or 2.

There are 4 pups all of uniform size and if you look real close you can see the heads attached to the spine. He felt it would be the 1st date - the 16th but I am hoping he is wrong and she holds out to either late the 18th or better yet during the day the 19th. He said no way she would make it to the last date.

Jeannie would not have been at the picnic except we had to do an xray before Nathan went to the National Specialty. He departs very early Tuesday and won't be back till late the 18th I suppose as its a 2 day trip. Yes, they are driving. Oh boy.

Jeannie's pups are kicking like crazy and they were all the way home.

More Later

I forgot to tell you that 3 or 4 days ago we had massive kicking and have had since. Usually you feel kicking within 2 weeks. Does this means she won'y deliver till 18th or 19th? I hope the 19th as Nathan just gets back late on the 18th. We are hopeful. Will know more agter xrays. Jeannie has become a butterball.

Tomorrow

Xrays are getting done tomorrow. Look for news at the picnic or posted here late on our return. I will also have the xray photo - I hope. :-) Have camera will travel.

Silly Photos

Trying to get belly shots was.... well a comedy of errors. We will try again on the day of the xray. Jeannie is eating 3 meals a day. She is growing, chillin and doing great!

No Kicks

Haven't been able to feel a kick but I may be missing them. Tonight during tv watch I will keep her in my lap and see. Leti is 2 days away from being out of heat - hooray.
