4 Weeks 2 Days Old

Pups are starting to play and play and play. It's so nice to watch. I get waggy tails and excitement when they see me. It does my heart good. With Leti we are going short blogs today.

Here is today's gallery.

They have also found the crate and rather enjoy it. They can enjot it when Leti is not hogging it.

4 Weeks 1 Day Old

They had their first upstairs play in the hall. They - both crews looked around as if to say where are we now and then proceeded to play. it is obvious at this point that Jeannie's crew is just getting good on their legs and they are smaller. They have now both reached the 2lb mark so they are solid but when you compare them to 8 day older pups, it is obvious how much they grow in a week. Adele's weights have slowed down which is normal at this stage.

By next week when they have their baths (oh boy lots of them), visits etc they will be more agile. Look at Adele pups this week and visualize what they will be like in a week. Between 5 and 6 weeks they do perfect their skills but not so significantly that they won't be playing well at that stage.

We have decided to give them that extra time and be placing the pups upstairs at the 5 and 6 week stage to be without moms after the family visit. I want to do them all together so they are all very used to being a team of 1.

How did they do upstairs? Check out the videos. My answer is really good. This duo has had to accelerate their abilities and they appear up to it. They also seem to like each other. We do not have any that want to take advantage of the size difference.

Here is the gallery.

By the way rotund tri has started to slim out as she is growing. That happens when they start walking around.

These are truly wonderful pups!

4 Weeks Old

We are doing short blogs today. Jeannie pups are now 4 weeks old. I expect them to ramp up their play in a half of a week. Here is a gallery of just the Jeannie pups

Be sure to check out the videos.

They are playing with toys and each other more though they can't yet keep up with the 8 day older crew but rest assured they will. It will happen when you blink. They do kiss and attempt play and this is grand as it has begun!

Here is a gallery of both litters playing in the hall.

Almost 4 Weeks

I think Nathan is smittened with this one as she kisses him up all the time.

Be sure to check out the gallery in Adele's blog as it contains all 7.

We have some videos of just the duo.

Just the Jeannie Crew in Hall

We take the 2 out by themselves each day before the play session of 7. We do this on purpose as they are so young to be out playing that this is a confidence builder of skills. our goal is to get them ready to have a 6 week visit at 5 weeks. :-) With holiday times its a little tricky. If they keep going like they are they will be more than ready as long as everyone realizes these 2 are the younger set by a whole 8 days. By 7 weeks and 8 weeks you will not see a difference.

But I have to say they are amazing to be playing out with the older crew at this stage. I am proud of their capabilities and they will improve due to the exposures and be ahead in the stages they normally go through. As we have done this before, we can see the development and these pups are doing amazing!

No Back Jeannie

The tri gal is showing signs of being a dominant. No back with me. That may change as its early in their development. She's a round thing but as she starts running around she will slim down. Right now she waddles. heh

Be sure to check out the rest of the videos.

The 2 Litters Together

Yes, we had them together. Here is the gallery and videos are coming. The Jeannie pups are the youngest to take out to play and to have them play with pups 8 days older. Was it a success or do we still need a lot of work? Was it a quick play session or a long one for this age? Stay tuned.

Don't worry. If it didn't work it is simply cause they are too young.Look at the size difference - heh.

Uploading videos now so you can see their first adventure out together. The Jeannie pups are the youngest we have taken pups out to play especially with an older crew. See how they did.

3 Weeks 4 Days Old

The pups are starting to walk on flooring and its a funny hesitant - can I do thsi walk but good news they have been at it all day and they are getting it!

This duo loves comfort. They always gravitate towards fluffy beds and cishy things to sleep on.

Here is today's gallery.

we did try them with the Adele pups (Dennis did so no video) but he said they are not ready yet. We will try again this weekend when the duo is 4 weeks old.

Be sure to check out the videos.

3 Weeks 3 Days Old

It is so cute how they snuggle up to their stuffies. No posing here. just a capture of the moment.

Here is the gallery.

Nathan got the tri gal to eat solid food. You will see it in the video. He even got them both drinking water. Bravo little ones. He has the touch. Perhaps by 4 weeks they will be eating up a storm.

Be sure to check out the videos.

3 Weeks 2 Days Old

Oh we so do play now. It's interesting when you only have each other to play with.

Check out the gallery.

The brown one eats like crazy - solid food that is and the tri says no, I am satisfied with mom. usually we do not introduce food till 4 weeks so she has time to decide food is a good thing.

Blogs are short today. Not many videos. family kept us busy and all the other usual stuff. Heck I didn't even get to clean the 2 pens till almost 10am. It was one of THOSE days!

3 Weeks 1 Day Old

I tried the pups on solid food. The brown gal eats like she is starving. The tri has only subtle interest. They are young. Eventually the tri will want to eat food too. Not today. The bowels on Ms. Brown was great. No issue. She is ready for food.

Here is the gallery.

They are playing more and more. They are getting fun to watch and hold! This week they will start perfecting their playing skills. They are getting better at the walking business.

Be sure to check out the videos.

3 Weeks Tried Solid Food

Nathan put some mousse on his fingers and proceeded to see if they would eat. There is a video. Be sure to check them out.

It seems Tres (three colour) gal sniffed and licked for a second and went okay, I want to sleep. It may have been the timing when she was tired. Marron (brown) gal ate like she was starving. As they are younger I will not try them till tomorrow morning so I can see how they digest the food. Then if their bowels are good, we will try it again. The goal is to get all pups eating so they can be merged in a week or a bit. We shall see if we meet that self imposed goal.

So far Tres is shorter in body and round and Marron is longer and not as round. As they walk it all fades away except length of body.

The sisters are very willing to get and give hugs, kisses and all that fun stuff!

Check out their gallery.
