Well done Leti! You will have beauties!
Are you able to post a pic of the sire?
Who is the sire?
I was wondering who the Daddy is as well. :)
From a previous post, I think it's Muntuno ?
Yes, Christine, I think Anne is right, Muntano. Here is a pic.

Christine, if you search this site for Muntuno, you will find pics of him. He is beautiful!
We used Truffie. With Montuno I was expecting stunning black and whites. He's out of our Spice and Phantom. As this was his first time and Leti's first time, it didn't work out. We are rather experienced but Leti intimidated him. She said who the heck are you, get away from me. He would get close. She would growl and he would say, okay I won't. This went on for days and when she was in prime, it still wasn't working. How do I know she is in prime? Well Kat goes a bit crazy. A bit is an understatement. He drove me NUTS and continues to do so. Leti is 14 days into it and usually my gals go into their height about 10 days. As she is not from my lines and is an import, she's later than usual. But we once had a dog come into height on day 20 and on day 21 go out. I expect beautiful pups from Leti and Truffie. We still have the Phantom in the line but we won't most likely have the dominant black and white but genetics can fool you. We will find out in January. Panda is still not in heat. We will be using Truffie on her. Lucky, lucky boy. Kat almost attacked him yesterday. It's the only time he does this crap but knowing he's getting the girl and you are not is very hard to take. Though Kat is better this time than in times past. I guess he is getting resigned to the idea. We will try Montuno with Leti next time as she will be experienced. Washing boys daily completely underneath has not been fun on top of being sick and oh yes I am sick.
Truffie and Leti will make beautiful pups. Very interesting to read about this. Truffie is such a beautiful dog.
Sorry Darlah, trying to help but just added confusion. :-(
It sometimes happens when you get a submissive boy. Truffie is a submissive boy too. His first time he said please, please may I. Each time they are bred they become more confident. Leti did the same to Truffie too but he said - you aren't serious. You are just teasing me. Next time Leti will not be a virgin. It's always up in the air when you have two virgins in the mix I guess just like humans. :-) Best situation with a newbie is one partner being experienced. But we have done it with 2 inexperienced ones. Look at Adele and Newton. It was their first time - both of them.
Truffie's first time was with Abigail and she already had a litter. He probably would not have connected either if Leti was his first. Leti was - you want me to do WHAT?
Are you expecting chocolates from this litter or a mix of all sorts? Leti is adorable! Poor Montuno!!
Well the chocolate in Leti's line is there but that doesn't mean she is a carrier. You must be a carrier on both sides. Truffie is a carrier. Phantom is a carrier but again you must be a carrier on BOTH sides. So it is possible. Fiona (Truffs mom) consistently had chocolates and her chocolate was 8 generations back. Fiona turned out to be a carrier. Her sister did not. Leti has a 'very strong sable' presence in her line. Truffie has a very strong chocolate and sable and black and white in his line. With this combination, anything is possible. All I know is I don't expect them to go oversized. :-) Leti and Truffie are on the small end. I also don't think we will get a black and white but one if lucky. I was looking for a stunning black and white for the ring with Montuno. We will try again the next time. Both combos were planned just Montuno was supposed to be first. So, I am not unhappy. Just disappointed.
Monica:
You can't miss what you never had. :-) I was referring to Montuno. :-)
I'm behind on the posts. Thanks for all this interesting information. Looking forward to seeing what both Leti and Panda produce with Mr. Truffles. Will be fun!
