The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid is a recognized National Pet First Aid Certificate course for dog and cat professionals and pet owners. Talemaker Havanese now has that certificate having taken and passed the course.

Leti has been busy doing all sorts of things especially obedience with our son Jonathan. Leti is a total sweetheart and a major love. She is a snuggler like no other. I wonder if her kids will be. I bet they will.

Leti is from Prague. She has been with us since she has been a wee pup. We are going to breed her to Truffie.

Darlah, do you give her the missing link supplement for small dogs?
I was a bit worried about giving it to my dog as I can only get the one for adults.
I think Leti is lovely and her coat looks good, my poor darlin needs something to help the coat be more like Leti's.

Su: Yes, I do give Missing Link and I do see a difference with it. You can give the adults but for pups I would give the puppy version. What shampoo and conditioner depends on the coat.

When they hit 9 months we put them on the adult version. Our older crew gets the version with glucosomine and chondritan just to help their movement stay fluid. It must help as Risa takes 2 steps at a time to go upstairs at night.

Leti is very special to Ed and me. She was the first Havanese pup we had ever seen up close and personal when we came for our first puppy visit, Dec 2, 2013. She was so little then. Ed was lying on the floor and Leti was nibbling his nose, his ears, his fingers and he was playing with her like crazy. When it was time to leave Ed had to wake her up since she was asleep on his leg. She will always be special to us.
