12 Days Old

Snoozing faces - how wonderful. Aren't they simply beautiful? Nothing like sleeping pups to have that ahhh moment.

Two of them are now over 1 pound and 1 is edging up to that 1 pound mark. The first tri was the smallest when born and remains the smallest.

They are now actively trying to get up on their feet but still the eyes remain closed. Usually they open and then practice walking. Not them. They are going to practice before they can see.

On another front, tummies are in good shape, They are gaining and Momma Leti is also eating without being hand fed all the time. We praise her like crazy when she eats on her own. We are getting there. Of course she still needs all the good stuff added in.

Lovely videos, love watching Leti eat her steak, which she seemed to really like, at first stepping away from the food bowl I guess to stay close to her pups. She is an amazing mom.

Smart Leti...holding out for steak! It's so cute when she's outside of the pen, looking in at her puppies.
