Surprise!!

I have a secret and guess what - my humans thought I was pregnant but didn't start cluing in till last week when I was showing signs.

We could clearly count at the vets so I know so now its your guess. Remember Leti is a small gal like Saffron - a tad larger.
According to her heat dates she would be due from today till December 13th. Most likely that count down won't start for a week as they usually do not peek till day 7plus. That means first likely due date would be the 29th. It best be before then as I have a date with Sherry at the One of a Kind Show.
Let the guessing begin.

Total is 6. When we go through the list many time people say not now - next litter as the timing doesn't work. We wait till they are born in case the number is wrong or we have a difficult birth etc. Then we wait 7 days from then to make sure all are eating and healthy. Then Nathan goes through the list and starts contacting people in order. Other than those waiting (their choice), we are working our way through the list. Send mail privately to Nathan and he will tell you how far you are down the list with those that choose to wait. You never know - seriously on how many choose to say - next time.
Stone is the dad. Her only litter born was January 6, 2016. She had 3 boys. Why she is having 6 vs the 3, I have no idea especially with no tie. Outside tie meaning he gets real close only allows so much sperm to travel. Stone must be mighty fertile.
I am waiting to hear from my reproduction vet what she thinks about the calcification. The more calcified they are, the closer they are to being born. I think a week. they are of size it appears. Follow the spines to see.

By the way, by the list positioning it looked like we were going to get our second Talemaker pup in the Spring of 2016 but, as Darlah said some people ahead of us waited, and we ended up getting Radar in Dec 2015. What a terrific Christmas present he was for all of us!
Angela: If we manage to merge Jeannie and Adele pups together, it will be like having 1 litter of 7 with 2 moms. lol With only 8 days, I believe we will accomplish this. Poor Dennis continues the night shift.
Oh my goodness! Excited for all the new puppy families.

Exciting news that Leti will be having her second litter. Stone is the man for sure. He contributes to making such nice puppies.

Wow. That is a wonderful surprise. Leti is a beauty and Stone is dynamite. Way to go! Darlah you are amazing. I don't know how you do it but I can't wait to see all the pups.
